Kernow - Minimum age 18

The only thing that was a mild discomfort was the bed. It had a firm spot in the middle, most likely two mattresses pushed together to make a king. Not great for cuddle factor but everything else was great.

Kernow is on the outskirts of Charters Towers. There is no outside noise, just the birds and the leaves on the trees. The rooms are stylishly furnished and has all the necessities for a self contained stay.

There's nothing to not like about Kernow.

Absolutely everything amazing place wonderful staff the most interesting past. The owners have great vision. Nothing was to much trouble. Only 1/30 hours from Townsville perfect for that couple getaway from the rat race for the weekend.

The accomodation was beautifully decorated, modern but with old world charm. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious and felt like a luxurious hotel with lots of extra touches.

They greeted you at the gate, show you directly to your room and informed you of the best way to contact them should you have any problems. They offered a complimentary beverage pool side and it felt like a little resort. Could enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set from my poolside deck. The breakfast was a great addition. Made it super easy and didn’t have to worry about organising it myself or travelling into town. Amazing customer service. Could not fault them in any aspect. Will definitely visit again!

Nothing to criticise.

Our entire stay was delightful, beginning with the friendly gate greeting and ending with a reluctant departure. This ex-mental asylum, beautifully renovated, conceals its past with elegant features. A single night was inadequate. On our next Charters Towers visit, this will be our accommodation of choice, offering a gym and driving range. Rating: 10/10. Exceptional hosting and breakfast options.

Room was great, clean every thing you needed, But....

Way too many rules.... Was really uncomfortable. After 5 mins of been there didn't want to stay.

Our Kernow apartment was spacious, well appointed full size kitchen, good variety for breakfast, tastefully decorated, light and airy. Great shower, hot water, perfect., comfortable king size bed. We had seating on the front verandah and in the enclosed courtyard off the main bedroom. Perfect location for our purpose. Friendly welcoming staff. Highly recommend.

Could do with some sound proofing between the units, and the bed made noise every time you moved.

A stunning restful location but still within the township area. From the minute we arrived and were met at the gate, we felt relaxed and well cared for. A 3km walk around the perimeter in the morning set us up well for the provided continental breakfast.

Very comfortable apartment equipped with everything we needed. Quiet peaceful location with excellent outdoor facilities such as pool, small bar equipped with a range of drinks and a very good bbq. All just outside our apartment doors. Also a continental breakfast included in the tariff. Overall an outstanding choice for us in Charters Towers. And Vanessa our host was lovely to deal with.

Nothing. Everything was excellent.

The room was extremely thoughtful. Attention to detail was superb. Very much reminded me of boutique stays in the UK and Europe . This stay was definitely one of my favourites in Australia in the past five years. Location is blah, but the accomodation exceeds any expectation for Charters Towers.
