Charters Towers Motel

Nothing like your picture - the picture was why I booked there.

Two ceiling lights weren’t working. Mattresses were terrible.

The beds were comfortable. Pool and BBQ area. Undercover parking. The staff accommodated our request for a larger room.

The air-conditioning did not cool the room. The ceiling fan did not work and needed cleaning. There were a few small roaches in the kitchenette cupboard. Location to town was not walking distance.

Photo not reflective of room. Was all pretty basic and confined. Staff however friendly and helpful.

Manager is nice and friendly. Price was good. Old style motel room with all the gadgets incl heater. Good location.

The front desk lady was very helpful with local knowledge and pointed me to some of the sights worth seeing in CT.

Parking. The room we were on was hard to get in and out of.

I booked a last-minute overnight stay here after a long drive from Mt Isa with my baby, and it was exactly what I needed to recharge before finishing the drive home the next day. I arrived quite late, without even stopping for food, so the complimentary biscuits were an absolute lifesaver. Even though it was late, the staff gave me such a warm welcome, which made all the difference. I’ve already been talking with my family about coming back for a proper vacation — and next time, I’ll definitely be making time for a swim in that beautiful pool!

Nice, clean motel with friendly staff and good old country hospitality. Close to town centre. Has a great pool and bbq facilities. Big park just across the road for the kids. Loved all the little touches that go into the planning of your room to make it very welcoming.

So clean and little personal touches. Great value. Easy access. Quiet.

What was not to like. It was great.

Everything was clean and tidy and we’ll looked after. Pool was a hit with the kids and there were even some pool noodle’s available for them to use!Staff were so nice!

Ideally located, good facilities, friendly service, nice pool and bbq area - didn’t get to use these but it was all nice and clean.

Water pressure is a bit poor but is ok for a short stay.

The whole motel is exceptionally well presented and has obviously been refurbished to a high standard. The room was very clean and modern and very comfortable. The pool and BBQ area was really nice and also very clean.

Great overnight stay. Clean facility Great valueOnly issue were the blankets on the beds caused everyone to have allergies that night. Once removed and packed away everything got better.

Nothing to dislike we always stay here we love it staff are great and accommodating and very very clean

Staff are amazing, go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Little decor touches make a difference. Extras like a toaster and microwave help with food preparation. We have stayed before and will again when we pass through.

I was impressed with the renovations that have been done on the rooms. I also throughly enjoyed conversations I had with the lady running the office.

My prado was very awkward to park .

The room was well styled and very welcoming for an aging motel. You can see they take pride in their establishment and attempt to modernise whilst still showcasing the feel of Charters Towers

Nice clean room with plenty of space for the 3 of us. Would definitely stay again if ever needed.
