Country Road Motel

Clean and can get food to room.

There were 3 of us in the room but only 1 extra blanket. Was quite cold the weekend we stayed.

Clean and comfortable for a basic hotel

Fridge froze all of my food on first night

Good location out of town.

Room was not as advertised and was over the odds price wise.

Good place to stay and right on highway for an early start.

The road trains were a bit noisy

Nothing wrong with this motel, clean, good size, good facilities, good staff. Very good in every way.

Good sized clean motel room with a comfortable bed. Surprisingly good night sleep as the motel is between a main road and a train line, didn't notice any noise. Onsite pool (though we didn't use it).Eateries are a short drive away. The popular Sovereign Tavern served up a lovely pasta.

The smoke from fellow visitors and staff wafting across as we were enjoying sitting outside.

Arrived late and mgr was very accommodating to check us in

GOOD LOCATION, GOOD HOTEL NEAR BY THAT SERVES GOOD FOOD. AND GOOD BREKKY SERVED IN ROOM.

The room was a good size and nice and warm on a cold night. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom and room were very clean. We had everything we needed for a one night stay. You can walk to Tower Hill from here. Even though close to busy road we didn’t hear traffic noise.

Nice clean room, reverse cycle air conditioning made it cosey and warm on the cold winter night that I stayed.Nice hot shower with plenty of pressure. Easy access parking.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The parking was good. The option of breakfast to your room was fantastic. There was even an option for a packed lunch. True hospitality.

The price was a little higher than usual. This is the same across the Town though.

Motel was Easy to find. Cooked breakfast was excellent and great value for money.

The location was a little out of town and we got lostBreakfast for me was not good. We ordered fruit juice that was good and scrambled egg where the egg was not scrambled but was one plain solid omelette on toast. There was no seasoning or taste

The function we went to made us come in late and I was very conscious of trying to be quiet not to wake others nearby. Everthing I touched was noisy eg the tap at basin and water running down the pipes. Normally this would not be a problem. The bed was reasonable but not extremely comfortable. We did not sleep well

Disappointing

Noisy from rail line and goods shunting from early AM. No food options and a little out of town for food (BYO).Otherwise average motel accommodation for country Queensland.

After notifying the owner that we would be arriving late in our truck, after driving 10 hours we were so thrilled to arrive and find the lovely owner had turned on the air conditioning so when we arrived our room was not only clean and fresh but wonderful and cool so we could shower and jump straight into bed without having to wait for the room to cool down ! The bed was so comfortable and we would highly recommend staying here.
