Cons -
- Staff were rude, lied about trying to contact me about my booking as I had no missed calls and provided plenty of information regarding my arrival. It was clear I had made a mistake on my booking.
- Pool facilities - need new chairs everyone you sat on cracked. Due to weather. Playground - run down and not safe. Rusty screw sticking out on retaining wall frame and needs a good tidy up. Loose cut off branches just hanging above in the tree, unsafe if they were to just fall.
- More lighting around parking spots near cabins would be good. When unloading kids at night, I tripped over a tree root and skinned my elbow.

Good

Great location.
Unfortunately it rained during my stay and the gutters were all choked up with leaves and debris and as such the gutters continued to bubble / gargle and were quite noisy. Car got covered in debris that stained the paint work.
Room as we had a trailer
The fans were loud and aircon not in good condition had to clean flitters and was duck tape to hold the front on
Clean and very accommodating staff. We asked to move rooms due to some mobility issues, they were really helpful and happy to move us.
There isn’t anything to dislike, great property!
Clean, comfortable accommodation. Friendly staff.
No wifi. When we are travelling this is very important. Both wifi addresses did not give internet access.
Location and staff were great
The smell in the room like someone had pissed in there the water damaged roof an bottom of the walls mould in the bathroom the roof lining looked like it was falling in you could see where the screws have pulled through the roof lining... for $151 in charters towers I expected better
Loved there was an electric fry pan in the first room we stayed
Roof was very noisy ( if we are being picky ) with the rain and.being under a tree.
Very comfortable bed to sleep in
The bungalow is smaller than what the photos looked and a little overpriced for the night. Becoming a little run down.
Ok
Very old things where broken and they have a glass table in a place where their is kids not a good idea , needs to be up dated for the price I paid should have been better
Pools , roomy cabins
Mosquitos ?
The rooms were pretty cosy.
The pool was horrendously dirty. Nearly a 40° day with kids and unable to swim in the pool. Was green and filled with leaves, dirt and branches
Very friendly staff. Loved the ease of booking and how clean the room was. Pool and hiring bikes was a hit with the kids! Very close to town/drive in cinema too!
Being from the towers it's the only place I'll stay It's always clean, friendly staff etc
During the night could hear random noises like it was ppl walking around trying to get in. I wish I booked the one bedroom cabin instead of a studio, but being one night just sucked it up. And that the glass sliding door didn't lock, had to lock the screen door with the key (from tville tad iffy bout only one door locking)
The place had great amenities, the pool and playground area was good. The family chalet was comfortable and quite roomy.
The 2 bedroom chalet had one air conditioner for the whole place (situated in the lounge) and it took several hours to cool the whole place down.
Good layout of cabin
The booking was made for a bungalow which turned out to be a run down mining Donga. The floor was not stable and was a very poor quality place to stay. Upon complaining I was told I could upgrade to a cabin upon which I did. The cabin had dirty bed linen and the bins were not emptied. Upon calling caretakers they were very rude insisting there was no problem. Very poor place to stay and will not be back Save yourself money and go elsewhere
The moment I opened the door I felt at home the bed was so comfortable and we even slept in it was a place well visit again I also liked that the cabins weren't right on top of each other they were spaced out
I didn't like that the bathroom was so small but it isn't an issue just my preference to bathrooms
Plenty of parking for vehicle and my trailer next to cabin.
Location was ok.
The floor was dirty and the room was stinking hot. It would have been nice to have had the air con on prior to arrival to cool it down. The air con was only in the bedroom not the living room.
