Discovery Parks - Mt Isa

The barbecue area was clean and very handy for our family gathering. The pool was nice and the toilets were clean.

Rude front office staff. You should hire people who like their job and are friendly and accommodating to customers not rude and unhelpful. Very disgusting behaviour.The housekeeping staff were nice and friendly and more helpful than the woman in the front office.

Rooms could do with some upgrades (no flyscreen and there were wasps in area)

Room was great. Shower and toilet is outside but NO BUGS and shower was AMAZING

Room did have small ants come in when food was left on table. (even just 10 minutes and they were there)Door to cabin as quiet difficult to lock.

Good location, lady on reception was very helpful. We had a granddaughter who was sick late at night, and the people at the park responded very quickly and did not complain. Thank you.

We loved the shower and the van.The only down side was that the shower got clogged up, but was to do with the drain we were told. Other than that the water pressure and shower was very nice.The van didn't have heating, or we didn't know where to find it. Otherwise comfortable and quiet surroundings.

Bathroom very clean. Check in ladies were lovely.

Floor was absolutely flilthy, I had to sweep the whole cabin and collected a big pile of dirt and sand. Bottom bunk bed under the sheet was covered in crumbs, dirt and hair. Light bar was hanging from the roof and one light was flickering which was very irritating. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, no support, was lumpy and had to sleep on a slant. Would not stay here again. Checked in just before reception closed at 5pm so couldn't address these issues.

Absolutely loved all the staff and the facilities with kids it’s so hard to go somewhere and have entertainment for the kids. My boys loved the pool! And got to meet amazing people due to going there almost every afternoon.

There was mould on the roof inside the room. Bathroom was out side. We were expected to clean everything with disinfecta

The bed was awesome ...very comfortable

Floor was dirty.. dust stuck to our feet walking on the floor without thongs. Broken microwave door , a health and safety issue that should be a priority. Not for us discovery park. Not to mention due to being stuck in flood waters I received an email that my nights stay had been approved to be moved to the next night by Jenna, only to be told I had to pay again on the day of arrival. Very disappointed.

Everything else. Clean and comfortable, lovely pool and lots of birds flying around.

The pillows

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well presented.

It appeared there were other spare Economy Cabins, and we were right on the end, number 51. It was HOT so the air con struggled and it might be a good idea to leave that one to be booked out last when its hot. Not a complaint at all, but cabin struggled to get very cool in the hot hot hot weather we had for 5 days while we stayed. Thanks for a great stay :-)

Good location, good price. a little dissapointing that the previous occupants had 'stolen' the kettle and this hadnt been noticed. Was dying for a coffee and no kettle!

A quick check of the facilities when cleaning for the next occupant would be great.
