Lock to room very basic, furnishings a bit tired and dated

Exactly what we needed after a long day travelling in the car. It was the perfect stay for our family and dog included. Accommodation was clean, and the shower was amazing! Highly recommend if travelling with pets.

Good location and ease of access for bigger vehicles.

Our door didn’t lock properly and could be opened by pushing on it without much effort. All good if you are in you can put the security lock on but when we went out to dinner we were very vulnerable to break in’s. Mt Isa is known to be the youth crime capital of Qld currently so was not happy about that. When I mentioned it to the front desk the next day the lady said they were just caretakers and hopefully if the sale goes through the new owners would address the problem. Great approach ??☹️

Quiet location clean & tidy

Restaurant was advertised but closed when we stayed

The room was cool, comfortable and clean.

We had hoped for the famous and well-promoted breakfast...only to discover that the kitchen was closed. It didn't matter but considering the photos on website, tripadvisor, etc...

Bed was very comfortable.

Unfortunately the door on our hotel room didn't close and lock properly. We had to put a chair and heavy bag up to the door. The door did have a latch however we wanted the door completely shut. If I was travelling alone, I would have requested a new room.

The bed was amazing. The bathroom was not bad.

Paper coffee cups, if I wanted take away cups I would go to a cafe. Take away cups are not great for rinsing when you drink multiple coffees. The TV kept going off as the reception was bad. You need to have antennas do guest can watch local channels. I would probably not choose to stay there again.

Very friendly, helpful staff, including front counter & cleaners. Also made barista coffees and sold cold drinks. Close to railway station, which is what I wanted. Easy to walk, or catch a $10 taxi to any location. Swimming pool on site. Laundry free, including laundry powder. Very clean, quiet.

Restaurant was closed for the season. However they did have delivery options with Buffs Club (great food, very yummy) & Coffee Club. Delivery not expensive eg $3-$5. $ spent on Buff’s Club goes back into community, so worth it.

Lovely room with very comfy beds and good shower. Good aircon and enough blankets on bed. Takeaway coffee cups in room was super cool I thought.

It was comfortable and clean. Shower was great and the bed was very nice.

The room was a great size and comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Parking spot outside room was great for loading and unloading car. Easy 5 minute walk to Woollies and other shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The style of mattress on the bed was not to our taste-too soft. There was no crockery or cutlery in the room. There were no implements to clean up after ourselves. There were only disposables single use items which we found very strange.

No restaurant. The reason I chose this place was the breakfast at the restaurant. It’s now closed. Terrible pillows. Only 2 bottles of water provided for 4 adults.

Spacious room, clean and very comfortable king size bed. Lovely little restaurant onsite for dinner and breakfast. Good homestyle food.

Bathroom/kitchenette layout is a bit strange. Only one sink which is in kitchen area, only the shower and toilet in bathroom. Feel like you're cleaning your teeth in the kitchen sink! No cups or crockery, only plastic or paper cups.

Exterior presented very well, with obviously tended gardens. Inside was stunningly clean; nice touch with the remotes in a sanitised bag...There is a feeling of pride and care at this establishment...

Beautifully presented and fresh. The sanitised tv remote and aircon controllers is a unique feature not encountered elsewhere. The staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable, all of which makes for a very enjoyable stay.

Basic but very clean. Staff were lovely and friendly. TV remote and air con remote had been sanitised and put in a bag. Onsite restaurant do lovely coffee and dinner and breakfast was superb. Would stay here again.
