It had a bed

Restaurant leaked like a sieve from the rain

The receptionist when i checked is was very welcoming and made the checking to the place a pleasant experience.

Have to Make sure to close blinds on lower ground room as i was not aware people walked between the back of the dongers and back of room so had to be careful not to flash anyone walking by - noted maybe guests should be informed on the aspect as i did not think to close it until i saw a guy outside the window by my bed.

The fact that I couldn't park near my room because other vehicles wasn't parked properly so I had to park way out in the front the first night & I had to walk up with my bags and 2 kids..

The staff are lovely, food was amazing and view is beautiful

Just outdated and a little dusty

The place definitely needs an upgrade but the rooms are clean and brilliant customer service. Food at the pub was delicious! And a beautiful location.

Have stayed previously and really enjoyed except for the non cooling aircon.

our aircon in our room was not cooling so the night was extremely uncomfortable. As it was not running when we checked in we turned it on as the room was warm, showered and went to have dinner. So when we returned to the room it still was not cool and a bit late to reorganise.

Easy check in

Found a frog in the room that was just jumping around all over the place and no wifi although it says there’s high speed wifi access .. the aircon was not the greatest and the cold water was hot water .. but glad we had somewhere to rest before driving home

Friendly staff

I was disappointed with the room. The decor was sad, everything was old, worn and outdated. I was expecting alot more. There was a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor that potentially could have invited unwanted creatures into the room. An old bedcover helped close the gap up. The air-conditioning worked by the end of the night but took such a long time to chill the room, then there was the noise of the a/c unit to deal with all night.No cold water in the shower cubical or hand basin makes it very uncomfortable to enjoy one's experience.We ate breakfast at the restaurant and again were disappointed. The room had a tiredness look about it. The continental breakfast was limited in variety and appeared to follow one brand of cereal and not the most popular brands. The hot food had a good selection but over heating dried the food.The staff were very friendly and hospitable so that was a positive experience. Overall though, my experience wasn't positive and I hope that my comments are addressed to make the experience a happy one for future guests. Currently, and value for money, I wouldn't recommend staying there to my associates.

Bad

It is very run down with old box air-conditioning. They don't turn them on for you so when we checked in later after 5pm it took until midnight to cool the room to a standard where I could sleep. There was so much radiant heat throughout the room it was so horrible. The walls are very thin and so can hear everything next door. The bed is very uncomfortable and there were so many mosquitoes in the room. I got only a couple of hours of sleep and definitely won't waste my money coming back again. To top it off the little milks in the fridge curdled our coffee and so must have been way out of date.

The location of the property right on the water and the staff are helpful and friendly.

The property is well overdue for a refurbishment! The air conditioner in the room is not suitable, the fridge was terrible with a busted door seal and a freezer section which had not been defrosted. At $260 a night for a very average room it is well excessive and you will find better options.

Stale, bugs and didn’t feel clean.

We were in Dampier following in the footsteps of Red Dog, visiting the locations of the film is beautiful! Besides, Dampier is really a beautiful village with a huge playground for children! Very kind and helpful staff! You can also eat in the pub of the structure.

Left early and didn't have breakfast.

To be honest the whole complex looks old and tired. Restaurant looks like it has the original furniture and carpets.

Good buffet evening meal in a great dining setting.

Small room

The location was exactly where we needed to be. The view from the room was quite lovely. We had a family room and only bedding and towels for 2 people and the staff were very approachable when we requested supplies for our daughter.

The room we stayed in was very unclean. There were splatter marks on the inside of the curtains and on the walls, the exhaust fan in the bathroom looks like it had never been cleaned, the vents were furry. The drinking glasses provided in the fridge that were wrapped for cleanliness were visibly dirty. The highchairs stacked outside of the restaurant and along the walkway were black with dust and the external lights outside our room didn't work so it was always dark walking back to the room at night. The air conditioner made an awfully loud rattling noise at all times.

location perfect, pub attached great food and views.

view out of our window was of old empty pool, old furniture and over grown weeds. faulty lamp ( electrical) power points coming away from the wall, suit case rack about to fall off the wall. Old and in need of a lot of work.

Quiet clean no disturbances.

Cost is a little high for what's provided it's not high quality it's just simple room fridge and bed.
