Riviera on Ruthven Motel

Easy and convenient for 1 night. Accommodating staff.

Not a suitable environment for kids, lots of drinking and smoking outside the rooms.

Helpful friendly service.Good communication. Basic accommodation but had all required for an overnight stay including microwave, basic breakfast included. My request for a late check-out was cheerily agreed. Location suited my purpose for being in Toowoomba and is on the main road through town so handy for travellers needing a clean and welcoming overnight stopover.

I found the bed quite hard and uncomfortable. Would benefit from a topper to give some softness. As a result slept quite badly. Also it was impossible to turn the bedside lights completely off ?‍♀️ they emitted a low level light all night that with a number of other standby lights further added to my poor night’s sleep. Also the pool closed at 6pm which is a bit early in summer and on a very hot day.

breakfast looked ok but I am more “big breakfast”person.Parking and access were excellent.I would stay there again.

This place was excellent in every aspect clean,fresh comfy beds, inside and outside very well maintained.Friebdly host,close to hotel,safe and quiet.

Price and location. Bed was good.

Obviously being on Ruthven, it was slightly noisy, but the kind agent gave us a room toward the back.

Great location and fairly quiet ass you will hear ambulance and other services going. Not often. Check in was ok. The man doing it was very brusque so maybe he was having a bad day. Otherwise everyone else was friendly.

Room 7 ensuite door didn't quite click shut. But venue was good value, quiet room, easy parking right outside the door, close enough to town centre to walk to Parks, cafes, shops, but not so close to be disrupted. Clean, good air-con, comfy bed. Met our needs well for a quiet low key economical weekend away, with a chinese restaurant 100m away for easy dinner.

Location was good. Breakfast was great, just what you need, and in a lovely dining room. Extremely clean and the staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Also a great price. Would definitely stay again.

Only problem was the traffic noise. Next time I'll ask to sleep down the back.

The light breakfast is ideal for people like us who just want coffee, cereal & toast, others might want more, but it is very convenient

We have stayed here on a previous occasion & everyone was very friendly & helpful so when we had a family funeral to attend we not only chose to stay again but encouraged family members to book there too. Unfortunately our first experience at Reception was not pleasant. I asked if he was able to tell me the best way to exit Greyhound Bus Terminal, my Google search was not clear to me and we were picking up family who’d travelled from Newcastle. He retorted that he didn’t have a clue! He’d been there only 4 weeks & hadn’t been past the driveway entrance! His manner was bordering on rudeness during our check in procedure.

Very friendly reception staff on arrival. Rooms very clean and comfortable and I liked the hard floors rather than carpet. Bathroom was also very clean. The included breakfast was ideal for the stay.

We booked an Executive Suite, and the suite was lovely and clean and spacious.My husband and I were very happy with the free continental breakfast and enjoyed eating it in the pretty dining area provided.

Lovely and clean. Air conditioner quiet. Mattress I could have bought home with me.

Microwave that you had to get down from a fairly high cupboard to use. Dangerous I thought when only one of you and the "you" is a bit elderly ?Should be a shelf in the shower for shampoo etc.

A lovely Motel, very clean and in a great position, close to the center of Toowoomba. Light breakfast included which is very thoughtful for people who are generally on the road or passing through this town. Beautiful Chinese restaurant across the road, food was superb.

There was a slight smell of bleach, but that means the room was clean, clean. Very nice. More than that, the aircon was clean and had NO mould. Thank you so much.
