Discovery Parks - Fraser Street, Hervey Bay

The property has amazing staff!Great facilities for the kids to keep them busy for hours. That’s a win for all parents :)

Upon arrival we noticed a lot of construction and we were in the cabin right beside it. On the bright side, yay for the upcoming upgrade and the workers finished early so the noise was not an issue.

Big room. Cooktop. Balcony. Large bathroom. Large lounge room. Plenty of kitchen storage.

Carpark for room was difficult to get into. No oven.

The location and park facilities were excellent.

There wasn't a broom or mop and bucket in the cabin. I think when staying for 5 days it should be supplied.

Two Pools. Easy access between guests in glamping tents, cabin and van sites,Easy access to restaurants etc

The lady at the front desk was so lovely and accommodating. The room was fantastic, 1 fan didn't work in a room but thats the only fault. Was a lovely fun stay.

The park was close to the beach access, local shops and restaurants. The deluxe cabin we stayed in was well laid out, clean and comfortable.

There was a bit of repair construction going on, and we could hear the people next to us through the wall. We didn’t have access to our back deck because of the repairs.

Very clean and quiet. Kids loved the pool and activities. Easy to check in and out and the staff made it ready for us as soon as possible. The cabins had everything you needed for the perfect family stay. They were very spacious and the shower was awesome.

Bunk beds were great, but the main bed was a tad too soft, I am possibly used to a firm bed and more likely too fussy though.

The cabin smelt a fair bit. So much so that the air purifier we took (due to allergies) had to have a filter change when we got home as it smelt of the cabin so bad!

It was disappointing

First of all we chose the discovery park because we liked the look of the newly refurbished safari tents.At the last minute we were given a unrenovated cabin instead because of maintenance issues with the safari tent.When I tried to call reception regarding late check in I couldn’t get through so left a message with an enquiry and no one bothered to call me back.we also sent an email enquiry about late check in and got no response either.

The professionalism, work ethic and friendliness of all staff we encountered was exceptional!The wildlife, turtles, and ducks were exciting for my little one.Perfect location and facilities.The music and Projection Movie night at the courts.The unique experience of the safari tent with aircon.Recycling available.Privacy, peaceful, quiet.Modern, tidy and well-maintained common areas.

A splash play or smaller wading pool area for toddlers would be a great addition for future renovations. Additional soap, conditioner, shampoo, washclothes and Dish soap would be handy for longer stays, ours only had one/two days available.

I loved that it was a short drive to the esplanade. Our cabin was clean and smelt clean as we walked in. There was so much to do inside the park to do. My children loved it.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful aspect of pond. Walking distance to beach.

2 pools, jumping pillow, games room, turtle and duck feeding, walking distance to beach and some shops.

Fabulous park, fantastic facilities, lovely staff.

It was in a great location easy walk to the beach front and beach front facilities- restuarants, cafes etc. The Whale Watching tours pick up from here as well. It was secure, private had lovely facilities and the room was exceptional. Thank You!

The staff were exceptional. The accommodation clean and comfortable. The facilities were great. Kids enjoys the games room and both of the pools, playing tennis, basketball and the go-carts. They also enjoyed feeding the turtles, eels and birds. The location was only a short stroll to the beach and shops.

The unit was very clean and comfortable. Checking in after hours was simple and instructions left were easy to follow. Comfortable bed and a hot shower.

It was close to everything and the view from our balcony was beautiful. Lovely staff and easy to get in and out.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable but i will definitely be back in the future.
