    Pros +

    • Own bathroom
    • Relatively easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Plenty of parking on the street. Showers had a lot of space and plenty of hooks- Great water pressure. Staff were all friendly. Very clean. Hammock chairs were nice.
    • We used Eco Loge for our trip to K’agi island. For our tour it was as pick up spot. That was pretty sweet. It’s a very nice hostel. We had a room with a dubble and two bunk beds. It was clean and just nice.

    Cons -

    • My room was very close to the room next door and they were loudly coughing
    • Very expensive for the accommodation taken.
    • No outlets close to most of the bunks in the dorm. Dorm was very hot. The curtain covers both bunks. The person below me closed it before I got back and cut off any breeze from the fan. Very sweaty night. The bed moves with the slightest movement.

Check in was easy and the facilities were good.

The walls were extremely thin and we were woken whenever there was activity outside the building.

    Location

Not including towels and aircon, sometimes noisy

    7TanviPosted on: 1-31-2026

Great communal spaces and place is kept very clean!

Mattresses on beds weren't that comfortable, air con unit lacked controls for temperature.

    1MichellePosted on: 1-30-2026

    Nothing there was no breakfast

Only a pedestal fan, external cord running under bed nowhere to charge phone unless you sweltered without the fan.

-The outside areas with the hammocks -The staff

Compost bin on kitchen counter created lots of flys. Could be moved elsewhere!

    The location and cheerful staff

The plants just outside the door could do with a tidy up

    8MaevePosted on: 1-10-2026

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Communal kitchen, eating area is quirky and interesting. Gardens are pretty and good to sit in.

Showers were basic but clean and lots of hot water

Big spacious room, good kitchen facilities that were always clean. Also liked that they provided each guest with a box of kitchen utensils so you know that you have what you need and that its clean! Lovely and quiet with a nice outdoor area to relax in.

Having to pay $5 for aircon (which we didn’t do but they had a fan in the room that did a good enough job!)

Clean and perfect location. Kind staff.

A bit noisy but it didn’t bother us since we have expected it.:)

The location of the property is perfect and I really like the eco vibe.

We had some very noisy neighbours and sound carries very much between the units. There were people drinking and talking loudly after 10pm. We could also hear neighbours stomping around in the room upstairs and noise from the toilet and sink on the other side of the wall. There should also be a fly screen on the door so it can be opened to cool down the room. The room was very hot and stuffy and the fan didn’t really help.

    8OrlaPosted on: 1-1-2026

Very clean, had what we needed for our stay. Decent facilities/toilet and shower areas. Walls very thin but other guests were very quiet so it was good. Above our expectations!

Absolutely stunning hostel with exceptional service. I had a late check-in, and the management communicated all the instructions clearly and seamlessly, making the process completely stress-free. They even arranged a taxi for my pickup the next morning, which I truly appreciated. The room was impeccable, and the shared spaces were beautiful and thoughtfully designed—such a lovely atmosphere throughout the property. I also loved how eco-friendly and sustainability-focused the hostel is, with clear efforts to reduce waste and operate thoughtfully.

Could not find the kitchen light in the common room

    9SurayaPosted on: 12-26-2025

The property felt more like an eco lodge than a hostel. My mixed dorm room had overhead fans and loads of storage; I also had respectful roommates. The living room/kitchen was huge (felt like a cabin) and the garden had loads of plants and hammocks to doze on. It was also clean and well maintained, all in all I had a good stay

The location is close to the beach but not much else. There’s a bus stop nearby but they’re not very frequent (once every hour) and end pretty early like 5pm, so do plan your day ahead of time

    9HanPosted on: 12-6-2025

The owners have very thoughtfully organised the place and made sure to minimise any waste without compromising on guests’ comfort. I really enjoyed my stay and extended another night after arriving here, would totally recommend it to anyone who enjoys a more laid-back environment.

    8CrystalPosted on: 12-3-2025

Easy to check in and out, cool place to hang out especially there are few hammocks for you to chill. There is a cat that wonders around at night! I suppose he is the night guardian for the place! Too cute!

Wooden shed hence sound proof is not great - especially when groups of youngsters stay in the same building or next door. It can be very noisy. Though it is already stated on note in the room. Suggest to bring own earplugs for better sleeping quality.

    10ElfaPosted on: 12-3-2025

The beautiful ferns and tropical aspect of the place. It was magnificent.

    Mixed shower. Prefer female only.
