Tasman Holiday Parks - Hervey Bay

Breakfast was good. The location was do natural, beautiful and peaceful. I went with my wife and kids, they were so happy to stay and requested to book more than one day to explore more.

Ideal for a small family one bedroom with four bucks and a master bedroom ideal comfortable bed for adult adults

There was nothing to dislike

It was lovely and quiet. The cabin was comfortable and all the facilities were great.

The shower in the cabin was very small, hard to move in it as the floor was slippery and you had to be extremely careful.

Loved it! So much more than we expected, plenty of room. We arrived early and used the laundry facilities while they cleaned our accommodation straight away to allow us early check in. Reception staff lovely, site staff very helpful. We stayed here for our boat trip to K'Gari as this was a coach pick up. Really lovely to sit out on the terrace in the evening. Quiet location. Just need to stock up on groceries in town.

No sofabed as advised in booking and could have been cleaner. Found an old sock under bed that wasn't ours

Easy to find, simple instruction to get in and out after hours. Had our own parking spot.

The mattress was so soft and had no support in the middle, so we ended up sleeping on an angle. Bunk beds weren't made only had a sheet and a pillow on them.

Aircon was on when we arrived so the cabin was cool. A small container of milk and complimentary tea and coffee sachets. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower. Cabin was big enough for three people to comfortably enjoy. Quiet location.

The pool was dirty and possibly needed a clean. Having to empty our bins for a one night stay or you would be charged. We understand if it was for a few days and food scraps.

We stayed in a cabin which was clean and we'll appointed. It was close to the pool and games room both of which were excellent facilities.. Staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this tourist park particularly for families

The easy instructions and ease of checking in and out, outside office hours. The bathroom was recently renovated and nice

The facilities were basic for the price. The couch was tiny for the amount of people and the beds weren't comfortable.

No power points in the main bedroom , my partner has a cpap machine and luckily we brought an extension lead , as we had to run it to the bathroom was the nearest point that wasn’t a trip hazard . Bathroom looks recently renovated , but there’s no exhaust fan and only a tiny window for ventilation from bathroom smells and showering .

The family atmosphere

The pool was shut the second day. There were tree works during our stay. The aircon was useless. The screen door had no handle or lock. The window screens were loose and held on with sticky tape.

Good value

The advertised bunk beds were very small in reality. They do a great job at making the bunk beds look sizeable, but when my friend who was 175cm (average height) tried to lie in it, he was not able to lie straight. He resorted to moving the mattress out on the floor instead. The room should not be advertised for 4 adults but rather 2 adults and 2 children.

Bed is too soft. We booked a room with a sofa bed, but when we arrived the staff told us that sofa bed is no longer offered. However it is still not updated on booking. Very misleading

Max the receptionist was great, she was very friendly, funny and informative. GREAT customer service.

This is a great location for a quick drive to the beaches off the Esplanade and to other amenities. The cabin offered plenty of space for two adults and would be fine for additional young children but the bunks are a little small for large teens. The pool area is clean and well-maintained. Compliments to the groundskeepers - it’s immaculate!

The bathroom shower doesn’t contain water properly, so it requires slightly careful use to avoid water all over the floor and if you were really not watching what you were doing it’d go into the living area.
