Pleasant Way River Lodge

The lodge served its purpose for basic overnight accommodations; the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean.

However, the bathroom in Room 36 was very tired. The tiles and grout were in desperate need of a deep clean or renovation —I didn't utilize the shower because of it. .Even for a budget stay, the bathroom standards should be higher.

Love this lodge, I always stay here when I'm in Nowra, nicely located by the river, is such a clean place and is very peaceful, will always stay here when I'm in the area.

I think the only thing I would like is an outdoor cooking area, BBQ area.

Location was great 15 min walk to Woolworths

I liked almost everything except the the dark canopy outside our room window, when even after sunrise it was like night time.

We had our daughters wedding at a nearby venue. This Motel worked well for our immediate family. Good size rooms, outdoor socialising areas, close to town, river nearby, easy access and parking.

Toilet running noise - had to turn off water during the night. Getting there from Sydney was easy but coming from the other way access was a pain as you had to go over the bridge every time to get back to hotel.Without a car there was nothing close to hand to eat/coffee shopRoom was only basic

It was in a great location convenient to everything. The rooms were lovely and spacious. Clean modern bathroom. Car park allocation outside your room.

The only thing was the guest before me did not use the bin and had all their chocolate wrappers in a bedside drawer! It was easily missed by the cleaner and no fault of the motel, just the feral person that was there before.

Location was excellent. Clean rooms and quiet place.

The property was close to amenities and shops.

It was average property, felt a little costly for the price we paid. There was no option for breakfast or other room service. Just small room to stay

Clean. Comfortable beds.good quality towels. Great shower! Customer service very good - communication was prompt clean and so helpful! We had undercover parking. Easy checking and checkout.

Would have been nice to know in advance about needing coins for laundry . No close coffee or takeaway. Could do with a coffee machine.

The aircon could’ve been more powerful especially in this hot weather .. also a arm chair would’ve been good to be in one of the rooms to sit on.

Very comfortable beds and exceptionally clean. Friendly and helpful staff during the lead up to check in and they were also very helpful after we checked out and I had to come back due to leaving my medication in the fridge.

The 24-hour self check-in process is excellent and easy to follow.The room has pretty much everything we need.Staff is very nice.

The soundproof is a bit bad that we could hear so clearly the people talking and opening the doors next to us. There was also some noises from the water pump/tube when people were taking shower or using water next to us. These made us hard to sleep.
