Motel Melrose

Location and ease of process, PIN room access.

Light bulb near the sink is out, not great for shaving.

Surprisingly quiet, lovely tranquil outlook onto gravel and lush foliage, convenient location and outstanding customer service. relaxing personal use outdoor table & chairs

Old leaf litter underfoot outside tends to get tramped inside if not careful

Clean and tidy , very aged

Very small and aged. Time for renovation

We liked it all. it was clean ,quiet and had a very good night sleep.the pressure in the shower was good.we were in room 16 and it was quiet and lovely.although it is a little outdated We loved that.

there was nothing We disliked about this room,

Comfy enough room at this price point, and a good central location, parking is great too.

Some sort of after hours contact is needed. The door code we were given stopped working during our stay, locking us out of the room. Reception was not answering at 7pm on a Saturday. We ended up fumbling through the app setup to get it to unlock our door., despite an email link being non-functional as well.

Older room but still comfortable. Sink outside bath area. Good easy walk to town and pubs. Friendly receptionist/housekeeper. Room facilities good.

Odd with sink outside bathroom but not a big concern to us.

Very small and basic but clean and comfortable

Bathroom a bit cramped and outsated

Very clean

Odd layout, with sink not in bathroom

The room was comfy. The QR code checkin meant I did not need to be there by a certain time. Have stayed here before and would stay again.

You need to drive to the main food/shopping area.

Close to town and very affordable ?.

Would be nice to have more milk. The drain in the bathroom backed up a bit when showering. Then whent away.

The property is very clean, very valuable for the money. The toilet was so good that I wanted to get the brand but couldn't! Hot water was very good. The mattress are firm , not soft as other low price motels an even expensive hotel. The room was by us enough. The tree at the front was beautiful for selfie!

Convenient key lock entry, onsite parking, quiet location.

Bathroom was very dated and could do with an update.

Bed comfortable

Bathroom tap drippedRoad noise

I booked late due to road work and couldn’t get to my destination safely. Booked and paid on line and within 5 minutes I received a text with my room number and the PIN code to access the electronic lock. Room clean and comfortable.

room key as well as touch pad

light near door .I could not see the room number on the door . I could see through the glass panel beside the door .Gaps beside the blinds. Leaves piled up outside door .I did not have any visual contact with any member of the staff. Bed comfortable.

Clean, easy to check in

Lamp was broken

Nice little motel, friendly service and good for an overnight stop while travelling

Booking.com! The check-in process is automated, so upon booking you are sent a PIN that allows self-check in. But booking.com somehow delays the communication so that I would not have been able to check in until some hours after I arrived. I was lucky someone was in the office or I would have had to abandon, even though I had paid.

Comfortable bed

Paint peeling Dishevelled

Easy check in/out process, comfy bed, had everything we needed

Could hear other guests through the wall and the bathroom was a bit dated, but functional for our period of stay

Good location, easy automated check-in.

Air con was suss - probably needs filters cleaned.... why do motels hardly ever bother?? - it was a hot night and the aircon barely coped.
