They’ve done a great job preserving the Renaissance character while modernising it with minimal disruption to the original look.The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Some elements, like exposed plugs, could have been concealed better, they were visible and potentially dangerous.

They don’t have toothbrush

Everywhere felt spacious and it was very clean. The restaurant dinners were excellent, be prepared for large portions!! Meals were tasty, well presented and freshly prepared.

Our bath in 214 leaked somewhere underneath, water came out under the panel. This is the only negative.

I’ve stayed at this location a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The place itself is lovely, though if I were to offer one suggestion, it would be that the reception staff could be a little more friendly for a more welcoming experience. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay.

I think that the location and staff are great, the size and cleanliness is also alright. However I feel like the bedding (bedsheets, pillows, duvet etc) could be improved as they were worn out and not so comfortable. Also I would love to see that they add more free toiletries (such as a small toothpaste, bubble bath, body lotion). I believe that these small changes would make a huge difference

Interior was really nice, like from an old movie ?. Receptionists were always kind and helpful towards our needs and helped us to navigate in Suceava's night life.

There's not much things to do in Suceava after hours, but it has nothing to do with the hotel. Hotel was more than we hoped for.

We arrived late after flying in to Suceva. There was someone on reception to greet us and direct us to our room. The room was comfortable and welcome after long journey. Reception was helpful in directing us in the morning.

The hotel is comfortable and quiet, well located. The hotel met my requirements.

- The air conditioner is powered by a long extension cord from the socket that should be used for the kettle. If you need to use the kettle, you will have to unplug the air conditioner or move the kettle to another corner of the room.

The room was nicely decorated and so was the rest of the hotel, it's a convenient location to visit the monasteries. The room was comfortable and we slept well, we had a balcony.

Little annoyances which could have been solved by the staff but we didn't bothered as we weren't staying long,, the bedsheet wouldn't stay on (was it not adequate), the lighting was not the best (a bit white and unkind), lack of conditioner and a glass with a crack.

Great location, in a quiet area of Suceava, close to the Citadel and the city center. Big parking lot. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. Breakfast is average and expensive, so if you're unsure about it, don't buy it.

Since we're not the first time at Balada (I think it was our fourth stay now), we can compare our stays... and for some reason this time we got a smaller room, although it was the same type of reservation. Breakfast is expensive for what it offers.

Maybe they need to improve restaurant ventilation systems.

The location, the renovated, cool & classic look of the hotel makes it for a great experience. Big rooms, great furniture, comfy beds and superb bathrooms. Highly recommend
