    Pros +

    • Breakfast wasn't included. We appreciated the fridge and kettle in room. A microwave would be a bonus, or directions to the communal kitchen area with the microwaves. Staff were helpful, but you need to ask for what you need.
    • Look.. it's a room in a Pub.. it was what I expected..
    • We were in singleton for a family gathering most of the family stayed at the royal We were able to walk to a great little cafe for breakfast and dinner at the royal and went for a massage right next door everything was so close and handy

    Cons -

    • To open the door on my room (2) would have to have great biceps!! It was tight.. especially when you are an Aged Pensioner..
    • The idiots, leaving the pub after closure, revving their motorbikes or cars deliberately to wake everybody up
    • Nothing to dislike. We got what we paid for.

Cheap. Quiet even though it was next to the pub.

Nothing to dislike. We got what we paid for.

    Scummy place

Booked a night's stay at 8pm, which the hotel accepted. Got there 30 minutes later to find all doors locked and nobody answering the phone, forcing me to go elsewhere. They have refused to give me a refund. Avoid.

Cheap/affordable and clean. Central to everywhere.

    10AjeshPosted on: 4-26-2025

It was good and clean .

But as we went with family we were expecting should have a small kitchen in some where or microwave toaster. But there was only a cattle tea bags coffee.

Busy local pub, live music Sat night. Good food, friendly staff, good value for money, room comfortable enough

Rooms right beside beer garden with pool table so quite noisy but not til very late. Long, loud staff conversation right outside our room at 7 am!

    5JodiePosted on: 4-5-2025

So noisy as there is quite a busy high street outside and there is a casino and bar downstairs

    10AmyPosted on: 4-5-2025

The staff were so genuinely nice!. The hotel beds were comfortable and clean. For what you pay you can’t fault the royal hotel singleton. Also a big thank you to the staff member who when asked, put the football game on the tv for us so we could watch while eating.

    6MohammadPosted on: 4-3-2025

staff were really nice especialy the lady at the reception

room 7, the noise from compressors going off all night ...didnt get a solid sleep. lighting is not the best. also no charge plugs next to bed.there are lil bugs crawling around the microwave vents at night, no water for tea or coffee.

    9GrahamPosted on: 3-28-2025

The room was of basic but it was clean, comfortable & ground level as requested. Staff bend over backwards to for fill any request . The food is excellent & a reasonable price. This is the best value for money accommodation in Singleton.

For the cost of the accommodation nothing.

    Central location, comfortable beds

Aicon in our room was noisy, shower head holder was broken. Had to tape it up to use it.

    5RachelPosted on: 3-16-2025

Good location, pub is lovely and great food and closes at a reasonable time so you can still get to sleep at a good time without loud noise.

Leaky sink, tv was broken and 2/3 days we stayed we only got about 3 mins of hot water in the shower before it went cold and temp kept changing.

    7DonnellyPosted on: 3-2-2025

We liked how quiet it was considering it's right by the main road. The room was cleaner than we wer expecting for th price. Handy to walk to everywhere.

The mattress protector was stained & dirty (highly suggest buying a new one).Female bar staff - wouldn't hurt to smile or even chat with your customers from out of town

    5RebeccaPosted on: 3-2-2025

    Cheap enough for the night!

Shower constantly leaked and you couldn’t hang the shower head up, it just hung down.

    9JanellePosted on: 2-26-2025

It was a great place to stay, with a close drive to the vineyard we were attending a wedding at. The price was great too. I liked that the beds were separated, with an extra room, which worked well with our family.

The tv didn't get reception well at all (I suspect it may need a different cable possibly), the tap dripped, and my daughter hurt her foot on a loose nail on the verandah (not badly). A maintenance man may need to do minor repairs. Otherwise it was perfect :).
