Jenolan Holiday Park - Oberon

Had air-conditioning thank goodness as a very cold area.

taps virtually broken in shower. I couldn't turn them on and when my partner got them on then they wouldn't turn off properly just kept dripping. NO ONE at reception to tell them when we were checking out torn curtains not a good look either

Location

Some of the lino was missing in the bathroom (covered by an outdoor mat), two beds were not made and were only supplied a sheet (no blankets/doonas etc), price was a bit steep for what it was.

The holiday park is 2 blocks from the main street of Oberon. It was really good value at $148 for 2 bedroom cabin on a Saturday night. The beds are comfortable. We were lucky the weather warm was quite mild for this time of year and didn't have to turn the heater on. I would happily to stay there again.

Access to the site.

Broken toilet seat. Electric blanket element was so uncomfortable we had to remove it; with a great deal of trouble. Then to find a load of rubbish under the bed head. Good luck trying to move the bed as it is so heavy!

Clean and tidy room, provided with all essential utensils, good individual parking space and playing ground at the front of the park. Walking distance from IGA, ATMs and restaurants.

IT WAS A PLEASANT LOCATION AND THE ACCOMMODATION WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. OBERON IS A PRETTY TOWN WITH LOVELY AUTUMN COLOURS AND THE MAYFIELD GARDENS ARE CLOSE BY, THEY WERE FANTASTIC.

Decent cabin on a budget, did the job. Loved the heated blankets!! My son loved the retro game console in the common area, and the fireplace.

The bathroom door did not have a lock and kept sliding open - there was a door-stopper we had to jam under the door to stay shut. No dishwashing liquid or dish towel. It rained on one of the days we were there and somewhere in the roof there is a leak, we heard the dripping in the night. The pool area was shut for the season - that was not made known in any advertisement or communication to us.

The location is convenient, just a couple of minutes drive to the town center.

The wifi is very poor, Mobile network doesn't work well inside the carbin. The beds are too soft, could not sleep well. The tape water has a strong smell, cannot drink even after cooked.We checked out earlier after one night stay.

Clean. Handy location. Easy check-in and out process.

Comfortable, clean and spacious

Value for money. Warm and comfortable cabin with good lunen and towels. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Close to town, air conditioner

The cleanliness was appalling. Please do your research before staying here. If I didn’t drive 5 hours and already pay my accommodation I wouldn’t have stayed here.

Like: nice, clean ,comfortable.Location is easy to find ,close to shop, and close to Mayfield garden.I am totally satisfied with the accommodation.

The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable, place was well equipped and the Wifi was good.

The grounds were quite unkempt and the whole place looked as though it could do with a tidy up.

Convenient parking, Comfortable mattress, although bedding between the sheet and the winter doona would have been appreciated.

Ensuite doors kept sliding open, although a rubber door wedge was supplied. Yard was unkept eyesore. Kitchen area very cramped and table quite small.

There were repairs that were needed to the cabin. There was a cockroach & ants in the kitchen. There was mould in the bathroom.

Staff and communication, location, quiet, good parking space outside cabin. Cabin, linen and crockery clean.

In one cabin the shower taps came apart and need to be replaced.

It’s seclusion (although close to town) the trees and their canopy created a very private environment also lovely to look out on. Immaculately clean all the amenities within our cabin were fabulous. Plenty of room to move.

Was nothing to dislike.

Super quiet. Comfortable pillows and bed. Everything I needed for my short stay. Swiss chalet vibe.. such good value for money.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was wonderful.
