Canowindra Riverview Motel

The room was beautifully decorated & clean. Close to town.  The owner was extremely friendly, professional, helpful and available. We felt very welcome. Would definitely go back to Riverview and will recommend it to our friends and family

Conveniently located

There was a noise sounding like a water pump coming on and off around 5am to 8am owners did not hear the noise do not have anything that makes that noise. It may have been someone working on truck brakes. Perhaps erect no standing signs on both streets.

Location, spotlessly clean, value for money

Fuss-free checking in, spaciousness of room. Air conditioning. Bed was comfortable.

Smell of disinfectant. Ashtrays on veranda not emptied. Parking spaces not identified.

Beds could be a bit longer, breaks on the wheels to stop them rolling about

Curtains had holes in them, rod was falling down, leaking tap, towels were rough.No hand towels, no tea towels

The location was good for our purposes. Room was excellent - clean and well kept. Bonus was"fresh" milk, NOT, UHT.

Clean and good location

Arrived later than agreed to find no staff in attendance and a note on the door with a phone number which only had a message that they would call back . this happened 4 times over about 2 hours. Eventually. when new customers arrived and rang the same number the manager arrived from across the road to tell us the key was in the room.Then we discovered no milk and 2 towels short. Eventually sorted

Clean, functional room. Friendly staff. Walking distance to clubs.

Car park was a bit tight for the last car in. No 'riverview' from our room.

Great location and outlook from the rooms, spacious and comfortable inside. Easy to check in and out.

Good size room and comfortable bed. Fresh milk available from reception.

Ashtrays full of butts on the tables on the balcony outside the room. Shower was next to useless.

Good size family room with very comfortable beds. Ample parking directly in front of rooms. Staff were very helpful with our requests.

No bedside tables in the alcove bedroom.

Great location to all shops and the pool, very spacious room.

It would’ve been good to have long life milk available with the tea and bikkies - but all in all we enjoyed the facilities

Pleasant stay and comfortable sleep. Staff were very nice and the location is excellent. Good value for money and would stay again. Great water pressure in the shower and check in was quick and painless.

The toilet in the bathroom was loose and wobbled a bit when sitting down on it (Room 7).

Clean & comfortable , easy walking distance to the Main Street & eating places.

Was quite noisy with trucks all night. Then upstairs you could hear someone having a shower at 5.30 am then driving off around 6.00. Probably workers staying at Motel so can’t be helped.

I like that it was cheaper than the Blue Jacket

The stairs had a lot of leaves and spiderwebs, could have swept them away. The mirror was really smeared.

The room was lovely. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Also very clean. The only disappointing thing was that there was no milk in the room. Our two adult daughters were in the second room we booked, and they did not have milk in their room either. By the time we realised there wasn't any milk it was too late to go out and buy some. Another issue was that although we arrived early in the afternoon there was no one in reception. Book in was done by phone. Frankly I didn't like this. Also a problem with all motels , not just this one is that hooks in the bathroom are too high. I am 144cm tall and I just cannot reach them. What is the harm in placing them lower?

I would have like some milk for my tea and someone in reception
