Goldfields Motel

Very clean. Shower power good so were towels and bed linen. Glasses and cups all individually wrapped, a nice touch. Decor pleasant.

Desperately needs a glass shower screen as the curtain proved useless. Sliding door would be good.(Water spills out onto floor.)Also a shelf above sink and a mirror on wall. An extra chair required, only 1 in a 3 bedded room.!A small wardrobe too as nowhere to hang clothes or at the very least a few coat hooks on back wall under air con unit. Suggest moving single bed up against wall so leaving space at both sides of queen bed and somewhere to put things from either side of bed.Difficult to squeeze along very narrow space for 2nd occupant and nothing there to put anything on. Could have used an extra pillow, just 1 for each person. Good job only 2 of us.

The motel was 2 star aspiring to 3 star. The tariff offered by booking.com turned out to be 20% more than the usual asking price.

location is a little away from the main street, but within walking distance to cafes and pubs. Good cafes and pubs in town for meals

Complex is very tired and lots of broken furniture lying around grounds. No staff in attendance at premises. Complex needs much updating

Very Clean, tidy and spacious room

Cosy, comfy, good sized rooms, we had 2. Affordable, staff quick to respond to queries, very polite when interacting, close to shops

Disappointing.

The electric kettle couldn’t fit under the tap, hence the whole tap was loose from people trying to get some water. No milk was provided. No cereal bowls provided. Light bulbs were out, so room very dark. Didn’t have any contact with staff at all. Generally was run down.

Close to the town centre

Toilet didn’t flush Bed was hard No room st all to walk around one side of bed.

Clean and tidy

Leak in bathroom under sink. Floor at bathroom entrance was constantly wet.No holder for bar of soap supplied.

At least the aircon works.

Room wasn't serviced through any of the four days stayed. Not sure if this is something that isn't included with the room or that you have to ask for it, but wasn't mentioned at check in. Didn't get me tax invoice even though they said they would email it to me. Still waiting for it four days after leaving.Don't know if the owners would put up with damaged electrical switches and outlets in their home but ok in the rented rooms I guess. Ohh and the couch!

Very easy to find, nice plants and easily accessible parking.

Walls are a little thin. Can hear when someone’s in the shower next door and their conversations. But other than that it was perfect.

Nothing really

Room was great location, easy to enter room, clean.

Neighbours were loud, woke us at 1am then at 5am. The bed were very uncomfortable, the pillows were so thin that u might as well of had none.

Bed was comfortable. Keyless entry. No stairs. Quiet location. Air conditioning was good. Towels provided were more than adequate.

No contact with any staff during our stay. External light not working. Light above bed not working. No bedside tables. Not much room around bed. Lounge was way too soft. Fridge not turned on and doors were open when we arrived, and milk was in fridge. Had to use a mug to fill kettle as sink was too small to fit kettle under tap. No vanity bench space. Tap was not secure. Had to hold it steady with one hand and use other hand to turn it on and off. Shower dripped constantly. Double PowerPoints were located at the head of the bed on both sides and was inaccessible as they were behind the mattress. They provided a power board for our use which was draped on the end of the lounge arm. Exhaust Fan in bathroom had a very short cord and there was no power point available to plug it in to. The worst thing was the tap because it could be easily broken if care was not taken (tap was floating free).

Other guests where very noisy - yelling and screaming till late at night and starting early in the morning (Room 4).Lights only half worked and are incorrectly wired.Toilet didn't flush property to little water (good it is small but not sufficient)Fan in bathroom didn't work.Wifi was all but useless slow rate and could nearly get emails. Lucky I had brought my own.I stayed here as last time I stayed at the pub and thought this would be a better options though almost 3 xs the cost. Was disappointed

Disappoint . I booked a room ,when I reached there around 8:30pm hotel was closed .i called to mobile number and landline number but no response.

Close to park and town. Ample room, 4 beds, TV etc

Bathroom could be a little bigger for family room, hard to get in and shower two little ones as cramped but for individuals it's fine.

Location was easy to find, and the family room offered everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Beds were comfortable, room was warm and clean. We had a very pleasant night. Motel was close to main street pub etc for meals.

Internet was extremely slow, and lots of workmen staying with lots of work trucks. Many parked away from rooms, but some trucks took up a lot of parking space.
