It was close to the service stations & supermarkets. It was in a quiet location.It was easy to communicate to staff through booking.comStaff were very accommodating to people checking in late.Staff were very friendly.

The cabin was too small & they need to be upgraded. There was no privacy in the bathroom as the adjoining cupboard was not closed in so others could see through the cupboard into the bathroom. The gap in the bathroom door was wide enough where people could also see in.

Good size cabin, quiet area of Parkes. Memorial Hill walk just across the road.

Cabin walls are thin, does need some walls repaired

Would have been nice to have a sofa bed the triple bunk is a bit dated. Unit 5 needs a door in the bathroom for privacy

Clean cabins, plenty of room for cars, away from major roads. Plat area for kids. Close to shops

Lived in Parkes for 30 years. Now a visitor just passing through but have always loved this caravan park. I worked for the tourist centre for many years and had no trouble recommending this park to visitors and now I am the visitor, I just love staying here. Excellent location, close to town. Modern clean facilities. Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We stayed in the clamping tents.bed was really comfy. Facilities provided fantastic. Extra blankets provided.but not needed due to excellent weather.Overall a great experience. Thank you

Ok for one night if you have no expectations

Air-conditioning didnt work, there was little to no hot water and shower was barely a dribble of water.

Poorly maintained . Expensive, having booked for 4 people, I didn’t expect to have to makeup 2 beds. Very poor. There were rule after rule. If you don’t do this, that will happen. It sounded almost threatening ?Sweep the floor and put the rubbish outside.We were wondering what we paid for???Would not recommend or return.

I liked the area and the unit and it catered for pets which is good

The cabin was dusty and floor dirty under mattress on bunks.

Needed a place to sleep and have a rest/laundry day as we travelled; high heat expected and we wanted to avoid driving in heat wave. This was the least expensive option, and it was the price that most appealed. Staff that met us on check in were really lovely. Offered us a brand new pizza oven for use on the onsite BBQ.

No larger/family cabin available on the website (though we were told onsite that a family cabin should have been available). This meant we needed to book one cabin and a ‘glamping’ tent. Tent was decidedly not glamorous, and definitely not great in high heat. Cabin was very basic; clean but nothing fancy. No wifi which was definitely unusual for 2023. Pizza oven was a bust, sadly. Did not work on the existing BBQ, and weather took a rough and wet turn which meant a desperate bid to save our expensive pizza plans.

Everything seemed to work as it should.

Ac had a “trick” to turn it on (using the room key fob) which I wasn’t informed about but I did arrive after hours. Staff still came out and helped! Very nice. Was a good stay and had sufficient space and amenities

Friendly helpful staff. Cabin was clean and bed linen was exceptionally clean and bed comfortable.

Power points were a little loose and fire alarm went off while in the shower twice
