The staff were awesome…our welcome, our service in the restaurant, all of our interactions with staff were fantastic

It is starting to show its age a bit, nevertheless it was clean

Lovely and polite staff. Nothing was a problem at all. Wonderful meals in the restaurant and very happy and courteous staff looking after everyone.

Location was convenient

The beds were terrible. Cockroaches were a problem. Shower leaked leaving the floor wet all the time.

The motel room was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. The bathroom, while a little tired, was also very clean with plenty of room in the shower. We had dinner at the motel restaurant and the food was delicious. A step above anything I have eaten in a motel before. There was plenty of parking right outside the rooms.

The only negative comment was in relation to road noise, which is to be expected when you are on the main road. We always travel with ear plugs so it wasn't a problem for us. This problem will shortly be rectified with the opening of the bypass, which will take the trucks out of town.

Room was strange , door connected to residence which was unlocked and couldn’t be locked from guest side , handy man came & put lock on it !

Nice clean motel close to town. Has an on site restaurant which is handy after a long day of travelling.

Car convention for 4 days and staff couldn’t be more helpful with keeping our cars safe. Parkes is a very friendly place

The room was very clean and very comfortable.

The bus that was starting at 7.45am and run until 8.30am when it left the accommodation. Also from 8.00am the bus sound when the door was opened each time. The amount of people going to breakfast and meeting outside my room for 15 minutes at 7.30am talking very very loud. I had driven 6 hours and had a funeral to go to and was very tired. Maybe the bus could be parked at the end of the driveway away from the rooms.

Facility was well presented. Food was good. Had across service dinner which was great.

I asked for a ground floor room as it was an option that was presented during booking. I was not given one, and the motel did not advise me prior to my arrival, with a reason why. I dislike that, especially as it was an option.

Good shower

Bed a bit hard, pillows too hard.Spa cold. Pool not full enough.

Plenty of parking, restaurant was excellent and good value. Room was clean and spacious.

Noise. Place was full of FIFO workers who camped outside my room drinking till 10pm at night. Noise between units was horrendous and kept getting woken up every time someone coughed or flushed the loo. Got next to no sleep.

It was a very comfortable unit with everything necessary for a short stay. The indoor pool was terrific.

I couldn’t get the microwave to work - but that was no doubt my sadly lacking technical ability,

We stayed in a disabled room. The room was equipped with all our needs. Shower chair, grab rail and had a fridge for medication. It was roomy and the beds were comfortable.

We were happy with the property. And would use it again when visiting Parkes

Good location, great indoor pool, clean and tidy overall.

Air conditioning system plant was mounted on roof. Sounded like the ceiling above us was falling in several times during the night.

Felt very retro staying there which we liked. Only motel we found on our tour that had a swimming pool. Unheated but still a bonus. Good home cooked food for dinner. Could have a cup of coffee outside our room as there was a table and chairs and coffee provided. Nice big comfortable bed. Big shower. Toiletries good.

Pool was unheated though it is supposed to have solar panels to do so. The location was out of town so not able to walk to the shops or cafes.

All great in accommodation. Loved pool on hot day too

Had an extremely salty barramundi at dinner which was dissappointing as everything else was great

Very clean and tidy. Was very accommodating with our late arrival.

The cold tap in both shower and basin was super hot water

Very easy to find and close to town eateries

Pool was chilly
