Bidgee Motor Inn

The motel was what we expected for 1 night on our way through. Staff were helpful and welcoming.

Not their fault but nothing was open to get any food. Outside area needed some maintenance but did not effect our sleep.

The room was clean and spacious. The shower was good. We had a nice sized refrigerator and the room also had a toaster and microwave. That was very helpful for us and we ate in our room. They even had full cutlery for us to use.

The WiFi kept going in and out.

The 3 bedroom apartment is actually an entire house! It has been renovated and is lovely. Full kitchen, airconditioning works well and there's even a lovely big bath. They provided a portacot and milk.

A bit further off the main road so have to drive from the Motor in and it's a bit of a walk back to get food etc.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, the aircon, TV and fridge were in good order, clean and modern, and the welcome was very friendly.

The room was quite underwhelming, especially when we had stayed at the Saltbush the week before. I had read about updated rooms but we didn't get one. However, it wasn't the scruffiest we have ever stayed in and it was clean.

Very comfortable Motel and very close to the centre of town. Jackie the manager was very friendly and helpful.

Check in was easy, staff really friendly and overall clean room.

Warning to people that are sensitive to strong smells, there was a very strong smell of some kind of aerosol sprayed in the room prior to coming, we tried to air it out but no luck.Smelled a bit like toilet spray/air fresheners.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are simple - clean, tidy and very comfortable beds. It isn't overly fancy but if you just need a stop for the night, this is a great option. Great location - walking distance to supermarket, pubs, takeaway, bakery etc.

We got one of the last rooms which was closest to the road so it was a bit noisy but we were exhausted and still slept well.

Dated and bathroom needed a long overdue Reno. Hand basin was in kitchenette not the bathroom/toilet And dark coloured towels concerned me

Perfect location in the centre of town. We were able to walk up and get pizza direct from town.Great location for a stop over from Canberra to Adelaide.Parking was directly in front of our room Our room was clean and comfortable. While it's not super new it was very clean and well maintained.

The only bummer was the fridge was turned off and I didn't think to check when we entered our room.

Located in the middle of Hay walking distance to Hotel for a meal.

The bed wasn't the best it kept moving. The road noise was terrible and the amount of trucks driving by all hours of the night. Worse nights sleep.

Bidgee Motor Inn is located in an easy to find & convenient location in Hay main street. I have stayed here overnight on quite a few occasions when traveling home from interstate trips. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. I find the price to be fair and reasonable and the accommodation quite suitable for an overnight stay. The bathrooms are always lovely and clean and the water pressure good.
