Quality Inn Railway Motel

Staff were excellent and location was ideal for our purposes.

Whilst value for money is a relative item when comparing regional centres with Perth, charges for overnight stay were not insignificant.

Opposite the train to Perth station, walk on flat ground to supermarket or takeaway ten minutes. Nice restaurant for evening meals on site. Pool and one table and umbrella. Parking outside of rooms many workers which leave at five or six in the morning beep beep might annoy light sleepers. Did not worry us at all. Taxi can be contacted by reception.

No bus to the airport.

It is always difficult to get accommodation in Kalgoorlie, last time we stayed in this town there was only one place available ( and it wasn't brilliant!) so I was delighted when we could get in at the Railway Inn. Only one night was available on the internet but luckily I asked at check in and they were able to give us extra nights.

It was really close to the train station, easy check in and check out. Room was nice, comfy bed and it was nice and quiet.

use to have spa at this hotel many years ago and they did away with it which was dissapointing.

The whole facility is very well maintained. We checked in early which was a big bonus and the room was clean, tidy and very quiet.

It is an excellent location when travelling by train. Within easy walking distance to the town centre and shops. The rooms were fitted out sufficiently for a short stay.

The cleanliness of the rooms was a bit below par. On arrival the shower was covered with several long black hairs and cleaning products were left in the recess. The disposable items were only replenished on one day and tiled areas were not mopped of water splashes. For the first two days the floors had a fine layer of dust and small stones

Great location, opposite the train station and a short stroll into the town centre.Clean and comfortable bed.

One young lady in the restaurant was exceptional and extremely polite

Only continental breakfast available due to renovations. Still a plesant breakfast.

The property was in a good location, right across from the Kalgoorlie train station and not far from the Main Street of Kalgoorlie. The property was safe and secure and everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy, and we couldn’t hear our neighbors next door, because of the sound proofing walls.

The bathroom was very small and compact and hard to move around, especially after having a shower.

Was not informed before booking that the restaurant would be closed for renovation.
