the view and the pool

the room ~not clean, the cutlery was dirty, i paid for a king size room and they merged 2 single beds together. the bedding caused my skin to be irritated (bedding not cleaned) the water and inside the fridge was expensive

Close to a lovely beach

King bed was 2 singles pushed together.

The staff were lovely and the food was delicious.There was a great spread for breakfast and staff were happy to make what ever we asked for

When we got there the spa didnt work, the pool table was out of order with no sign on it, the phone in the room didnt work we tried to call reception and got nothing, the TV netflix didnt work.

The room was excellent with access to a small veranda and outside too. Of particular note was the restaurant manager who has been there since the hotel was first built. He was professional and friendly. In fact all staff (breakfast and on reception) were super efficient.

Great room and facilities. Awesome location. Recommended for short stays. Very good value for money.

It could do with painting especially the swimming pool area a lot of cobwebs on the plants and rust in the ceilings

The view was fabulous. The bed was comfy, the spa bath was great. The pool was cool.

There was very limited facilities in the apartment, had to ask for plates. The ceiling is in need of repair. There was a permanent noise in the room, asked staff but noone knew the cause, every minute theres a high pitch noise, very annoying room 23.

The location was good. Nice and close to the beach.

Couldn’t access the pool area at all. Asked for a balcony before arrival, didn’t get. Room needed a good proper clean, dirty tissue on floor behind side table, bathroom had old cobwebs all around the ceiling, toilet seat was loose, and the exhaust fan was full of dust. Bar fridge didn’t freeze anything, as freezer was full of ice. The whole hotel felt very tired. Even dead flies on the window sills in the restaurant.

Overpriced. No working aircon. Water from shower leaks all over floor. Beds are springy and sag to the outer edge.

Loved the restaurant and the staff in it. The kids loved the pool area & the spa & sauna.

That there are no family rooms available for if you have more than 2 children and want to stay in the same space like some of the other Mantra Hotels.

Room cleanliness was very poor / carpets were absolutely disgusting and so stained. No change of linen on saturday or sunday. Bathroom was extremely small and poorly maintained.

Location and the balcony

The bathroom was looking a bit tired and had some mouldy grout in the corners. Can you supply cutlery and some dishwashing liquid to wash cups properly as housekeeping doesn't provide new crockeryI stayed for a week so it was getting a little difficult to have clean utensils.

Manta is situated in a nice position with ocean views which we liked very much. The Gel in the shower was empty on arrival and even after staff came in whilst we were out on the Thursday it was not refilled. The quality of the toilet paper left a lot to be desired and no toilet brush available.

We decided to eat at Basalt on our last evening. We studied the menu on your Website but when we tried to order the Seafood Platter for two it was not on the Menu neither were quite a few different dishes. I ordered the Fish of the Day which was meant to be topped with a Tempura Prawn which was not on the plate. My partner ordered slow roasted Scotch and when he cut into it the meat was cold. We has to ask the waiter to sort this out for us which they did. Admittedly they reduced the price of the steak but for the prices that were charged for these meals the standard wasn't good enough.

Great room with balcony overlooking beach. Spacious. Friendly staff.

Prices seem to have jumped up since Mantra took over.
