Shangri La Hotel Huhhot

We visited from Canada and took the high-speed rail from Beijing to the place. It was very convenient. The customer service from Merry Liu and Hao-bo Ma was particularly helpful and thorough. We thank you.

We are guests from Mongolia, the first time to visit Inner Mongolia, choose Hohhot Shangri-La Hotel, the hotel design luxurious atmosphere, convenient transportation, spacious, bright, clean and tidy, the service staff met us with a smile, but the language communication is a little inconvenient, at this time met the Mongolian waitress Hai Dajie English name LinDaHai, Especially warm greetings to our stay is good, and also introduced us to the local fun and delicious places, but also clean the room every day to add fresh fruit, said that there is still need to help tell me, too warm, thank you! Next time, I will choose Hohhot Shangri-La Hotel. After returning to China, I will also publicize to my relatives and friends that I must choose Shangri-La Hotel to travel to Inner Mongolia

Good hotel

We really liked the family room. For large family like ours, it's difficult to fit into a standard room, and getting two separate rooms makes it inconvenient to constantly move between them. Staying in spacious room that solved this issue was very confortable.

The toilet had issues. It would get clogged every time someone used it for number two. No paper or trash was thrown into the toilet.

Location is the best, i can easy to go shopping mall, service was fine.

I like the area but no one cannot speak English so its sa hard to communicate each other. I ordered meal at the room, so manager said me okay. She didnt ask anything. I just ordered my meal. I waited for 2 hours, After I called them, ask them when will bring my food, she said me i didnt understand. She didnt apologize. I was so nervous. Please someone speak english little.

High quality service and clean

Smoke smell was in the room even it was non smoking floor. 20th floor.

Xiao yue provided exceptional service and is very generous. The room was very clean and the staff were friendly.

The location of the hotel is very central and close to restaurants, shopping and sights. It's easy to get a taxi to go here from the train station or the airport. Their breakfast had a wide selection of foods that'll satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Horizon Business Lounge was also a nice bonus for those paying for the privilege. The staff were all professional and friendly.

Having experienced other Shangri-Las in the world this one seems dated and the facilities such as the on site gym is lacking when even compared to the one in Ulaanbaatar which had more equipments such as an Olympic Lifting platform and lifting cage.

We visited to Huh hot to have a fun, and chose Shangri-La hotel. Most of staffs were spoken in English, but not all. Fortunately we met LinDaHai, a mongolian room attendant, Aviva Chen, who served us enthusiastically and in an orderly manner. She sent us some bottles of water during our stay in period of hot weather, let us feeling the warmth of home. Thanks a lot.

The location was convenient, rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, especially Linda Hai and Aviva Chen, who were asking if we need anything and were willing to help.

Dirty, bathroom and some furniture was broken. They did payment Cheating on booking.com. The Booking.com price is not real price. After checked out, they add many unknown payment such as taxes, Room service payment, and room services payment taxes for final balance.

I was disappointed that the staff refused to credit points to my Shangri-La Circle card during my three-day stay.

Upgraded to club room so could use the excellent lounge. Staff attentive and helpful.

Didn't have spa treatments unlike most Shangri-la's I've stayed in previously.

The property was beautifully in all aspects and had so many features and was accommodating for all types of guests and needs. The staff were very professional and helpful. Always had a smile with a polite greeting!

I made a request for the room to have a card/chocolate in advance as part of the trip was for a special accomplishment. Even though my special request was approved but not done upon approval, it still was a wonderful place
