Riverside Hotel

Great location close to where we needed to be for the weekend events.Room was reasonably sized, clean and offered the basics.Onsite bar and restaurant were great; meal was tasty and mid ranged priced.

The room needed airing or an air freshener, once aired out it was ok.

The staff at the reception was very polite and friendly

The room wasn't clean enough. There were dirt and insects on the bedsheets. Also, the breakfast arrangement was disappointing.But the location was great!

Breakfast was make your own. Cereal, toast. Juice, teabags and instant coffee.Location was close to town centre and river.

We didn't expect the accommodation to be a donga and although it was adequate the adjoining walls are thin so not very private. There was a wardrobe but couldn't open the doors enough to use it as there wasn't space because of the bed.

Quiet location. Comfortable beds. No bedside lamps and bathroom door opened out onto bed so access poor. Breakfast was good but would have appreciated tinned fruit and better selection of spreads. Pub food good with plenty of choice but disappointed there was no Sunday roast.The 695 Corellas kept us entertained.

The room suited our basic needs - somewhere to stay before a very early start for a hot-air balloon trip. The evening meal in the restaurant far exceeded our expectations. The menu is basically similar to many regional hotels in Australia, but the meal we chose was very much better than we have experienced in other places. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and all things worked.

There was no Wi-fi in our room even though a channel name and password were stated on the information sheet.No operating instructions for the TV controller.

Room was a little small and couldn’t open cupboard or bathroom very easy bit overall was nice.

The restaurant meals surprised us with the excellent quality. We had the Chicken Caeser salad & Chicken Parmi’s & they were both the most moist chicken that we have ever had in a restaurant. Excellent job Riverside chef.

Shower base needs good cleaning the outside

Good budget accommodation. Good meals and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an added bonus.

Bed was pretty firm but I guess that’s personal preference.

The hotel had a great atmosphere, cool beer garden. The staff were friendly & accommodating. Food was fantastic!! Rooms were comfortable & clean.

Door lock was broken, had to change rooms

Cheap and close to town , we got what we paid for , staff were great , great food , accomodation was tired but that was clearly reflected in the price , I’d happily stay again

Air conditioner didn't work. Poor ensuite. goes on and on

Neat & tidy, good location, friendly staff & easy access to things. Thankful for our light breakfast being included.

Smokers next door & tradies swearing a lot, was a bit much for my poor mum! But that’s not the hotel’s fault. Flies in bathrooms & ants on the cupboards. May need some attention?
