Mountain View Motel Taupo is 5 minutes’ drive from Tauhara Golf Course and the popular Spa Thermal Park. Huka Falls and Taupo Airport are each a 10-minute drive away. A kitchenette or kitchen with a microwave, toaster and refrigerator is standard in all rooms. Each heated room features a work desk. Some rooms also feature lovely lake and mountain views. The tour desk can book local activities, including bungy jumping, rafting and jet boating.

- The slide opening windows rattled so much and kept waking me up. Got such a fright the first time it happened. I thought there was someone trying to get in! Terrifying!
