Accommodating & Friendly. A short stroll to town, or a relaxing walk alongside the river & beach a view of the Harbour. Clean tidy, ample off road private parking & affordable. Highly recommend.

Downstairs unit was unexpectedly noisy from the upstairs units plumbing. We didn't expect this and it was a bit annoying

The location was great, easy access to cafes, and close to shops, not far from town centre. The receptionist Karen was very welcoming and friendly, I had an amazing stay.

Very reasonable price and the room was clean. Motel is central to everything in Gisborne

The location only

Unfortunately for a 4+ rating it is a very dated motel. Venetian blinds didn't keep the outside light out, drapes would be a huge improvement. Has a fixed shower head and plastic shower curtain. The light fixture over the basin didnt work and was very shabby. Fridge very noisy and the leather couch seats were badly worn and scuffed so for the cost of $190 per night we were very disappointed ?

Staff were lovely and helpful, the room was cozy and warm and we were very close to other family members who also enjoyed their rooms and stay.

If I'm being pedantic, the bed was a little soft for us and the tele could have been bigger, given the size of the living room.

The bathroom is very dated. No cooking facilities except for a microwave. Comfy bed. Parking right outside door.

Location and quietness

Washing up plates/ etc in bathroom sink.

The location was good and the unit was clean and well laid out.

The price was pretty high for a studio unit.

The unit had everything, even the small stuff like a bedside clock, SKY TV, and decent tea bags.

Minimal supplies and no tissues. Hand soap also had to be shower soap.

Just a few more items added ie tissues and another soaps would have made a difference

Good location, room was comfortable and clean and had all the equipment I needed for a one night stay..

Spacious room on ground floor with comfy bed. Ample parking on site. Very good location.

Too much light let in at night through blinds.
