Waikanae Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park

Location and comfort. Room was well sized and quiet with great toiletries in bathroom and little touches like salt and pepper in the kitchen. It was great to have free washers and dryers with powder supplied.

The facilities, location and staff were awesome kids had a ball!!

Over priced our room was well stocked but my family members didn’t even have soap!

Waikanae Beach Holiday Park is a great place to stay. It offers a variety of rooms and activities. It is located on the beach front so its a short walk to the beach. It's only a 5min walk to the main township.

I loved the self contained unit that we stayed in. Very modern. Air conditioning was great on the very hot days. The grounds were easy to walk around and the facilities were easy to find and use.

We stayed in a two-bedroomed unit for five days and it was perfect for our needs.

We could not get the stovetop to work because it is an induction cooktop with no induction cookware. We asked for this to be fixed but no one turned up and we couldn't be bothered whining about it again. We also had no lightbulbs in our bedside lamps which we also asked about but gave up on. We also didn't have any outdoor area to sit it which would have been nice when relaxing for a few hours at the unit. It's not the Park's fault but the forestry slash on Waikanae beach was really disappointing. It was one of the reasons we chose the location we did and drove 7 hours from Wellington to visit.

Close to the beach. Good for evening stroll through the beach.

Not clean enough on check-in. Also not enough amenities in the kitchen to the price I paid for.

Very secure facility and safe fir our kids to wander somewhat. Very comfortable, quiet and serene surroundings.

The park was clean and the facilities that were open were well maintained and clean also. We loved the covered in swimming pool! This park is a city park so is close to the beach AND only a short walk to town. Comfy beds and stunning views. A relaxing break away with family.

There was a big renovation going on of a bathroom and kitchen block which we were unaware of before we got there, it would have been nice to know before hand, however this didn't worry us, and the other bathrooms were in great condition and kept very clean. These renovations need to be done and we appreciate they were being done before the summer months were in full swing.

Great spot right next to the beack and across the road from a nice takeaways.. young and old people should like it . We booked a family apartment but the tv was fuzzy so we asked to be moved..the nice lady at reception helped us out We ended up in one of the motels much nicer . And where we would book again when we visit gisbourn. All n all a great place to stay and walk the beach at sundown

The Beach Bach was perfect for our stay with parking right outside. It is located close to the reception, pool, park and beach On entering after our long, hot trip we walked into a clean, tidy and cool space. Comfortable and roomy lounge area, kitchen was cool with ample seating and all the appliances you need. Rooms/beds were comfy and served there purpose. Room outside for outdoor dining and a great area for morning/afternoon walks right next to the beach with the Waikanae cafe across the road! The bathroom had a bath & shower which was lovely and extra towels etc were available in the cupboard if you wanted a quick swim in the pool. I would highly recommend for families big and small with your pet!

Some areas not available due to the much needed upgrades taking place during the week. I cant wait to see when its all complete.

The location was perfect right on Waikanae Beach with great amenities.

The constant logging trucks that went past every few minutes. The ground shook, our whole room shook at night from the noise. It was not relaxing at all. I felt really bad because the actual camp ground is fantastic.

The unit and grounds were very tidy and clean, no rubbish laying around. All the staff were friendly

The pool was so nice, it was private and safe. Lovely staff! Clean modern rooms. Love the convenience store.

The Queen bed was hard. May need to add mattress topper. Woke up woth sore backs.

great location close to town centre and great walking and running paths. Room was very good and comfortable. Beach was right there and lots of friendly locals out exercising. Overall every aspect was amazing.

The room servicing could have been better. Only 2 towels replaced for the 3 of us.(Got more from office. Not sure if cleaning was supposed to be done but it wasn't. That was the only thing that was a let down, Everything else top notch.

Right next to beach, clean facilities, lovely and spacious, 2 bedroom unit was awesome, shower was the best.
