Neat and clean and friendly staff , near to bus stop and lots of great restaurants

Cons -

Usually, when I book a room, I look at the rating. This hotel is rated 8.6. This rating is false. This hotel is well located and the staff is very kind even if they only speak Russian. First of all its the first time in 30 years of travels that a hotel room must be paid day by day. The room we were given (56) was very small. The bed was basically a double bed stuck against the wall so one person had to go over the other one to get out of it. There is only one electric plug on top of the wall in the middle of the bed. The room was an oven, it was very hot. There is a very old radiator without valve and it cant be turned off. Yesterday evening we had 23 outside and we had 32 in the room. There is no fan and no air conditioning so we tried to keep the window opened but still hot, sweating in bed as if we were in the Tropics. The bathroom is a disaster. There is a small sink topped by a bending shelf and you cant keep anything on top. The toilet flushing is so weak that you need at least five flushes to clean properly. This hotel was not what I was expecting, the price was attractive but there are better managed properties around for the same price. One star its more than enough for this hotel.
No lift , I got room in top floor4th. But not that steep steps doable..
