Pros +
- I like how close it is to the Valley. It is an hour away from my favorite spots. There is a fish and chip spot close by and plenty of stores close by. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. And they give coke and tea. If you need milk they will give it. It was amazing.
- Nice comfortable room and shops...
- Comfortable stay. Huge room and very clean. Friendly staff at checkin. About a 20 minute flat walk to town centre for dinner or 3 min drive.
Cons -
- I had no issues. But my family noted if you closed the window too long there was a damp smell.
- Its a bit noisy but can't be helped as it is conveniently on the highway
- On main road, so very noisy if sitting outside

Comfortable stay. Huge room and very clean. Friendly staff at checkin. About a 20 minute flat walk to town centre for dinner or 3 min drive.
Clean and tidy units. Operater was very friendly and helpful.
On main road, so very noisy if sitting outside
A great location to explore town and the area. Management was absolutely lovely.
Wasn't the most comfortable bed, but the value of the place was great.
Location for coromandel is perfect. Very clean. Perfect for a family of 4-5 people. TV had youtube and Netflix.
Everything is perfect.
Great locationComfortable, clean self contained units.Excellent daily service, fresh towels and beddingHost Bob is wonderful
Spotlessly clean and well maintained Very comfortable and great facilities
It is just a little too close to the road so you do hear traffic
All the necessary cooking amenities met our requirements. Beds very comfy and also in the TV room.
Traffic noise was high since the site is near the major highway. However, this must NOT be counted against teh accommodation. It was understood at time of booking. Perhaps, include a carton or bottle of milk instead of a small jug.
This was the cutest little stay in Thames. Definitely worth the money. Walkable to the city Centre and the couple who owns it are the sweetest!
Laundry was next to our room, host was friendly and welcoming.
Fairly big room with kitchenette and en suite bathroom, car spot right outside. Walking distance to Thames shops. Great base for visiting the Coromandel Peninsula.

Location was good in Thames. Plenty of coffee, sugar, S&P in the room. 3 blankets provided. Heated mattress pad for the twin beds. Decent amount of dishes / silverware.
Main room bed had was caving towards the middle of the bed, so both people end up in the middle no matter what during the night. We had spiders crawl on us at night, and had spider bites. Main room handle was broken and the handle fell completely apart. Milk was provided for coffee, but in an opened jar... doesn't seem safe to use / or hygienic. Door to the room had a significant gap at the top, hence the room was very loud during the nigh, being on a busy main street. Carpet floor had stains and was dirty. Gentleman at the front desk was a lovely old man, but when he asked how our stay was, he didn't care, he just shrugged. Would not recommend.
Clean and fresh, handy to town and pet friendly.
Road noise was an issue as we are used to no road noise.
Good size clean rooms. The motel is a bit old but it was well maintained. Although the motel was next to a road, we didn't have any noise issues once the windows were closed.
Friendly staff.large apartment.Good room facilities Inc Aircon.
Rooms a bit dated but everything works.
Clean and tidy room. Owner was very welcoming and informative.Ability to store our push bikes in the secure patio outside our room. Close to the main road, but room has aircon, so able to sleep easy with windows shut.Would stay again.
Superb communication. We called and informed that we'll be arriving past check-in time and the room was up and ready. Nice, friendly staff, especially the owner. Clean room with a lot of amenities.
Just one little thing. The shower was super inconvenient. Water pressure was way too for a comfortable shower.
Super clean, well equipped, and a great nights stay. Bob is a terrific guy and a wonderful host. We appreciated him personally showing us the room and how to work everything. Yes, the motel is roadside, but traffic calms quite a bit at night and we were very tired after a long hike. Traffic noise did not bother us. The press for coffee was very welcome the next morning, as was the fridge that kept our snacks fresh. Lots of hot water and good shower pressure was also really appreciated. This is not a 5-star hotel, but for a comfortable stay in a beautiful area with a lovely host, it was 5-star for us.
