Rolleston Motel Thames - Wenzel Motels

Location is good, it has the required equipment

the overall impression from the hotel is o.k but I am not sure the value for money is worth. Other thing is that they tend to charge for things that are usually without payment in other places

Reasonably spacious, well appointed kitchen.

Absolutely no view, not a great location .. about 12 min walk into town. It’s been bought by a hotel chain management company (Wenzel) so then the price goes up and the quality goes down.Okay, probably didn’t help that I stayed trapped in my room because of monsoon rains.

Great location as mum had an opp and we had to stay in Thames and they let us check in early.

There was no milk in the fridge a towel rail would have worked in the bathroom , and the heating need to be checked one heater didn’t work .

Clean, tidy, quiet, comfortable room. Great location a short drive to town/to various hiking trails.

We liked the size of the unit, the separate room. The patio outside with the privacy was appreciated.

It probably could do with an update for the bathroom as it is showing its age.

Room is spacious for a motel and very cozy. Great location to the town centre, attractions and the Forest Park. Kitchen also has everything you need with the standard rules of not cooking smelly foods in a motel room.

Facilities can be a bit dated especially in the bathroom, but nothing major. Will be great if closing rack can be found in the room.

Decent size room , especially for family of 4.

Dead rat in the kitchen , ants. No one to interact at the window. Kitchen , fridge wss stinky. Do not recommend this to anyone.

Love the Rolleston. Its my second time there. Great venue. Clean spa. Thanks Maria for updating me and calling me for a much needed forgotten item. Cu again.

Room was spacious & very clean. Check in & out process was very easy. Daily laundering of towels. Bed very comfortable. Great location - close to all required amenities & not too far from other Coromandel destinations

Loved the location. Easy walk into the village to get our morning coffee. It was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. The staff were efficient with changing the towels etc x

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Fantastic motel - we had a lovely room with well equipped kitchenette and a nice semi-private terrace out the back. The swimming pool and hot tub were lovely! Staff even provide fresh milk which was very kind.

Rolleston was a surprise little gem. It was a great starting point for our trip around the Coromandel.The bed was very comfortable.Staff very friendly and a laundry on site.

Really liked the fact that dogs are allowed. this meant our little dog could come with us. The service was top-notch.

We stayed in a one bedroom. The dining/kitchen area felt cluttered and restricted with two single beds in the same area. We didn't enjoy the hirers in the adjacent accommodation, always looking over the concrete wall, looking directly into our bedroom. We kept the curtain closed because of this for most of our stay.
