Nice and close to location of concert. Owners were amazing. Fantastic communication.

We booked at short notice but we got what we needed. On Christmas day we had no problems getting our room keys. Pools nice for a quick dip.

The service and check in was exceptional! Welcoming and friendly. I really liked the pool, it was cold cold, which was lovely on a hot day. The room was impeccably clean, and the staff amazing.a short drive to everything.

Dogs barking in the neighbourhood weee hours of the morning. Out of moteliers control.

The location was very convenient for travel, shops and visiting relatives. It was quiet at night allowing good sleep. Excellent cleanliness.

The flooring in the bathroom/toilet is loose in places and makes a noise when walking on it. No Air Conditioning, the Fan was only just adequate as it was a period of hot weather.

Beds and pillows weren’t the best. Carparks were difficult to find once the hotel had more guests.

No soaps or shampoo provided…the room smelt like BO….and why supply kitchen utensils when you struggle to fill the kettle up from the wash basin

The best thing was the AMAZING water pressure in the shower ! Spotlessly clean bathroom too.The whole room was clean, tidy and warm. Bed was comfy and cosy.Perfect for staying the night after attending our evening event

Convenient location and the pool is a good draw card. Spacious unit and the kitchen is pleasant. Always nice to be offered fresh milk and free wifi.

This was the more expensive of the two room options, but I was disappointed in the standard. The towels were tatty and worn and ready to demote to rags, the basin had massive blackened cracks and didn’t look very appealing, the chrome shelving unit in the bathroom was covered in rust and I would have replaced it if it were mine, not a comfortable mattress, not as clean as it should have been (old milk still in fridge, toothpaste smears and dribbles on basin splashback and the glasses hadn’t been washed properly - had lip marks on them and they needed washing) and luckily I took a good duvet to use in place of the light synthetic bedding in this motel.

Good situation, very handy for us. Easy check-in. Obliging proprietor.

Bed and pillows not super-comfortable, and the blankets etc were polyester, rather than feather or wool.

Can't reach the wifi from the corner room (19), needed the wifi for work as the lodge advertises it has free wifi.Also booked a spa bath room purely to have jacuzzi and it wasn't working. Wasn't told until arrival.Got charged full price for both these 2x amenities that weren't available

Regarding the breakfast, one of the items mentioned on the Information Sheet in the main room indicated that breakfast was available. However, upon enquiry, I was advised that it has not been available since Covid times. I nicely suggested to the Owner that the Information Sheet needs to be updated to reflect this.

The free standing Towel Rail in the bathroom was rusted at the base.

The place is not clean, there were clothes belonging to ???? In the HWC, there were no spare loo rolls in the toilet and the empty roll not replaced in the morning servicing. The place is very tired and not well loved - but the staff are pleasant and the location great.

It was close to Pukekohe town center. I had a small problem with power points they didn't work l told Tony the next day and came and sorted it out while I was out for the day.

No hand basin, lack of proper washing up facilities
