Whangarei Central Holiday Park

It was very average for the price.

The WiFi was very very slow. Some areas were not clean. See photo paper in shower 3 days not cleaned.

Comfortable bed but we wouldn’t...

Sofa was dirty. No blind on one window.

This holiday park was well maintained, clean, comfortable, quiet, and everyone was friendly including the staff. Excelkent value for $$$. A great base accomodation to stay at when you're out tiki touring. Thank you.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't bring towels to shower because we came from Australia, but they looked after us and were very nice to deal with. The shared amenities were good, clean and tidy.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were in a cabin and it was a great size and had everything we needed, the facilities were a short walk away, very tidy and perfect for a get away. Staff were very friendly!

Mould in shower, lack of kitchenware for cooking and sharp knife in kitchen, spiderwebs and lack of privacy due to positioning in park. Dirty camp kitchen.

Room was not clean had bottles under the beds, and toilet wasn't clean

The lady was lovely tho and made sure we could shower somewhere and answered the after hours phone and came straight to help .i would have liked some money back tho given we paid $190 for the night

We turned up after a massive few days at a tangi .when we got there the toilet was filthy .then went went to shower and no hot water at all so we had to go and shower in another cabin which was a pain as we have a small baby and not ideal i ended up boiling the jug to wash him in the sink ,i dont no why they wouldn’t of checked all this before we got there

Hotels in Whangārei are about $200-$300 per night for a small room with no cooking facilities. Air BnB’s are about $300-$400 but, with a bit of privacy (usually). If you book the apartments here they have heaps of space, some privacy and all the facilities for a decent price. Close to town and the Raumanga falls is a 20 min walk.

That you can’t leave the camp ground after 11pm as they close the gates to the public, which is fair. Could park on the road or in the visitor area if you really need to leave at night.

The room was great, everything was clean and tidy it was awesome

Nothing really I’ve stayed twice this year in different rooms and I can’t complain

Location was good. Affordable. Very quiet park. Staff very helpful.

Cabin smelled of insecticide. Sofa in cabin was old and filthy. Bedside tables covered in thick, sticky dirt. Utensil holder in kitchen was filthy.Room was grubby and dated. Cold water tap only inKitchenette. Absolutely freezing at night but couldn’t leave heater on as concerned about safety.

For an "oldish" couple we didn't like the bathroom upstairs and if there wasn't a bed downstairs we would have struggled getting our suitcases upstairs.

All of the above, clean tidy , great locale and management and staff were so friendly Awesome Team xx

I liked everything and nothing I disliked

The team,room, cleanliness and the neighbors were all fantastic

We couldn't get to stay longer due to pror event being booked out

The only positive was the location it was close to the venues, locations that suited us

What can I say…in our self contained accommodation, only one towel and no dish cloth provided, had to request themBasin and shower dirty, cobwebs hanging from ceilingNo microwave dishes. WIFI so erratic that we gave upOutside security light on 24/7 curtains ineffective

Everything is close rooms spacious beds are comfortable wonderful atmosphere

The people in the park, very nice to talk to

Stains on the sheets, hardly any cutlery.
