Motel Six

Room was clean and tidy with comfy bed.

We have stayed here before many times, but the room we got this time was really disappointing. It was in a row of 4 and we were in the last unit, every time anyone in the other 3 units used the bathroom or toilet it sounded as if all the pipe system went through our unit, not quiet or pleasant.

Good location. Host was very welcoming and even offered to upgrade our room due to availability. Facilities were clean, unit was spacious.

One of the windows above the toilet couldn't be closed - too high up.

Stay not longer enough

Convenient location for a couple of nights in town. 10-15 minute walk into town. Rooms clean and adequate size.

The management team were very warm and helpful. They checked in a few times to ensure everything was satisfactory. The laundry service was excellent. There was sky tv to watch the au open. The little kitchenette had everything we needed for a short stay. Great location. There was a McDonalds a stones throw away.

The decor is a little dated/tired.

Really enjoyed our stay at Motel Six in Whangarei! What stands out most is their attention to the little details and thoughtful decorations throughout the rooms and property—it gives the place a warm, unique charm that sets it apart from other motels. Clean, comfortable, and great value—highly recommend!!!

I'm maori dependent and what's in the toilet and bathroom area stay there.So I ddnt like the fact we had to wash our dishes and stuff in the bathroom area.

Incredibly hot with only noisy fan as a form of cooling the room - very uncomfortable

Bathroom and kitchen clean but need upgrading. No air conditioning. No fly screens so air flow challenging.
