Could do with a makeover, paint etc. Net curtains too small for windows. I wouldn¿t recommend the place to stay for the price they¿re asking for. Maybe $--- a night I would.

Location brilliant for visiting Whangarei Hospital. Bed clean and comfortable. Shower good with plenty of hot water Staff friendly and helpful.

Looks a bit out of date. Very old cooker, microwave, fridge. Could do with a bit of a refurb. Chair padding a bit thin. However it was fine for a couple of nights. So would use again.

Clean and comfortable, remember this is a budget price motel so don't expect 5 star accommodation and you won't be disappointed. Didn't have much interaction with staff but they were all pleasant and polite.

Further out of town than I expected, about 30 minutes walk and very few ubers to get back

Cooked own foods would be nice if there was tea towels, can opener to be ble to prepare meals and clean after ourselves

The guy at front desk very kind . Also so helpful easy to communicate with. Ended up getting an extra night

We are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 young children. This motel catered to our needs completely. It can be quite hard for us to find one room for all of us. We got a 3 bedroom, 5 bed “house” for an exceptional price. We will definitely be booking here in the future knowing our needs will be met. The property is fenced and private, our children were able to play in the yard freely, the space inside was very spacious.

No aircon, thankfully it wasn’t too hot of a day. The fans in every room were definitely comfortable during our stay though.

Unable to see the tv from any of the beds. No air-conditioning. Was advised with pool but on arrival the pool was out of service.

The bed was comfortable and good location and reasonably priced

There was no ventilation in the bathroom so the sealing was peeling and stayed damp which cause the shower to not be very clean specially for a toddler. The oven smoked and the microwave dirty. No chopping boards no spatula. No fire alarms in any of the rooms and a painting hanging up over graffiti. The beds were comfortable definitely a great place to stay for a night or two but we stayed for a week total and with a baby I need somewhere I can cook and not smoke out the room. Would have got a much higher rating if they had fire alarms and clean appliances

Had an early a.m. appointment at Whangarei hospital so chose motel for the location - perfect 2-3 munutes

I stayed here 5 years ago when my brother at Ehangarei Hospital. This stay was similar, my sister was transferred from Kaitaia Hospital. The Motel is a minute away from the Hospital which is convenient

The mattresses were too soft. Not a fan of a shower curtain. The shower floor was ever so slippery and there was no AC, highly recommended, the fan did nothing.

An older type motel but well kept ie clean. Location to the hospital is brilliant and the reason why we chose this motel.They seemed to have a lot of guests so that speaks favorably. There is a pool but locked up and certainly needs TLC.I would use this motel again.

Clean and comfortable beds. One big bed in separate room and two singles.Everything there if you wished to cook

Close to hospital while hubby having surgery

Entrance Hard to find after Dark. Need sign lit up even if full so people coming or returning after dark can find it. Hard to get out of as very busy highway.
