Hive Hotel, Moruya

So close to the town centre but yet so affordable. I've stayed here twice now and it's my go-to accommodation in Moruya when I'm staying there overnight. I definitely feel safer there than at other accommodation options I've tried before in Moruya.

The cost for 1 night was $317. That was for Boxing Day, so it was understandable, but very expensive.I would stay there again at a much lower price.One of the best motel rooms I have stayed in. That is a lot to say as my Wife & I stay in more than 100 motel rooms each year, travelling around NSW.

Rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Rooms are equipped with everything you need. Great for a single traveler who needs a bed at a reasonable price. There is a self service check in which is convienient for late arrivals.

The host was very friendly and the great danes were so friendly. Rooms were very comfy, modern and clean. Check in was easy.

The location is good, close to the market. The accommodation was really nice, the bathroom was big and spacious with all the toiletries, air freshener, make up wipes and even beach towels. The room had a microwave, cutlery, dishwashing liquid and even a mini bar with items at reasonable prices. Overall very nice and highly recommended. The bed was a bit too soft but otherwise everything was good.

Very sterile, not at all the experience you would expect from a country town hotel. Arrived 10 minutes ahead of check in time (this was mentioned to me by staff... ) and then directed to a serve-yourself check in kiosk. Felt very industrial and lacking warmth. I had also made a second booking for later for this hotel in the same week, which I cancelled and booked in elsewhere, where I thought I might find warmer country-style service.

Service. General vibe of cabin was quite industrial / sterile.

The room was very modern and had clearly been renovated, as they were much more updated than the exterior of the property! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. A modern bathroom had all the amenities needed, and the tea/coffee making facilities were great. There is also a mini bar if you want to purchase any additional snacks.

As I was travelling alone, I had booked a single room. The room which was quite small had a single bed, but still had everything I needed: a fridge, cupboard, small desk, TV & en suite. There were various snacks available (an additional charge obviously) & plenty of parking. The fit-out is of the fairly cheap and cheerful type, but clean and adequate.

The unit was extremely clean and that make us very happy.We could sleep all night long as there was no noise coming from outside.

I would get better pillows

Try somewhere else if you can.

If you running hotel, you can’t just leave the place and let it run itself. There was a problem with the sower tap leaking. All night no sleep, couldn’t wait to run away.

Convenient location. Comfortable bed.

Very impersonal. Self check in even though reception supposed to be open until 6.00pm. Emailed them at 5.30 to report only one coat hanger. No reply, but encountered staff member when going out later. She said she’d read email and would supply coat hangers the next day. Not good enough.

My single room was half of an ATCO portable building, it was very small and basic, not what I expected

The staff are friendly and helpful. We found the bed way too soft and ended up with sore backs. The shower had no pressure.

Lovely spacious room (queen), comfortable bed. Fabulous bathroom. Great location, walking distance to shops, river, markets etc

No black teabags, no mirror in bedroom (helpful when bathroom is occupied)

Close to town great shower plenty parking would stay again good price

Nicely renovated. Had book due to rain. Price high but overallgood

There was duck poo all around the pool. Couldn’t swim in there.
