    Pros +

    • Great location
    • The breakfast at Georges cafe downstairs was outstanding!! George was a great cook, a lovely man to talk to, and could not do enough for us I would give him 5 stars ***** We would definately go and eat at any place that he is the cook in.
    • Amazing view, comfortable rooms, good selection of teas etc

    Cons -

    • The room was a dungeon, no external windows, sold at the same price as the upstairs rooms with amazing bay views, TV was on a sidewall - try watching from bed!, No bedside lights, no milk despite having both tea/coffee making facilites.Very overpriced!!
    • We stayed at Georges for 4 nights, the bed in our room was not changed or made up, once in that time? ( The paperwork said you get your room serviced when you stay more than 1 night??) even after several requests? The room was not vacuummed either? The room servicing was very poor! The tea and coffee supplies were not topped up until asked? And neither was the toilet paper! All the doors in the room didn't shut properly, the locks on them didnt work properly? And they didnt fit the openings properly. There was a big hole in the fly screen door leading out to the balcony! You couldnt leave it open on a hot night as you would get eaten alive by insects? Several of the downlights in the room weren't working? The blinds on the windows weren't fitted correctly and were hard to open and close? And 1 of the control chains kept breaking? And the shower in our room took a full 5 mins to get hot? And the view from room which would normall be one of Victoria's best spots was blocked by a large mature Gum tree. Suite 3
    • We had a trouble getting the hot water going in the bathroom. Then when it did heat up, the cold water tap was not cold. I felt we had to waste a lot of water trying to get temperatures correct.

Pleasant but nothing to 'write home about'.

Our view was that the per night room rate ($460) has quite excessive for the room size, location and available facilities / amenities. For example the room was provided with 2 coffee bags (allowing for only 2 coffees) and a very small quantity of milk - at this room rate, this was pretty poor. There were also other things absent which would be expected when paying such a rate

Absolutely beautiful break away from reality. It was the first time my husband and I were able to relax in a long time. We were so spoilt from the intimate dinner to the beautiful room and waking up to the sound of nature and a great breakfast waiting for us downstairs. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, we really felt so special.

Nothing! Everything was just perfect; we couldn’t be more grateful for the way we were cared for.
