Nightcap at Morwell Hotel

Revamped rooms looked great and were clean

Walls extremely thin, long term guest in next room continued to groan/cough and dry reach all night. Staff at 11pm told me he was snoring. After a night of no sleep I contacts the motel and have not heard back from them.

Location to the event I was attending. The view from my window in the distance. Wide carpark. Ease of retrieval of key/tag. Staff that booked me in was friendly. Discount on meal from pub and a free drink topped of a lovely stay. Even though I left at 830am and back after 11pm both days

The first morning the hot water took along time to come through. I even started having a cold shower. Once water came it was perfect great water pressure. Big enough shower head. And water didn't create a puddle outside the shower. Bed was to soft for my liking. I couldn't sit on the bed to watch TV. Or on the side of bed to put my socks on . However it was a comfortable enough sleep. But if someone else was in the bed, I would think we would roll into the middle

Room was recently renovated and very comfortable.Shower head was even high enough that my husband could stand under it. That never happens in motel rooms.

Bathroom was squishy but was still very functional

O' if l am very picky, the access to the toilet is a bit squishy & it takes some time for the hot water to come through hot, but once it does its all good.However it has been by far the best accommodation l have experienced in decades.

Room was basic, but fairly clean.

Booked Queen and sofa bed room, but no bedding supplied for sofa bed, which was dirty when pulled out.Only one towel provided for 2 guests.

Huge room , clean ( great job Linda! ) well appointed, upu really couldn't ask for a nicer room

Absolutely nothing

Pleasant decor. Comfortable room. Free bottles of water. Great location and quiet.

Mostly clean apart from a long black hair on the toilet seat when we arrived. The shower recess/tiles needed a good clean though. Would help to have some hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes/towel when you are showering.

Handy to the hotel

There was no face cloths or plates or microwave

The accommodation was nice and clean and easily accessible. Check in and out was prompt and easy to do.

The bed was so comfortable and staff were friendly and caring.

It wasn't as clean as Id hoped, lots of moths in the room and hairs still on shower floor. But the bed was clean and so comfy.

Small but immaculate, and comfortable room. Aircon was excellent which was needed as room was incredibly hot on first entering.Room was clean, modern and attractive.

Communication from hotel is NIL. Bar staff were friendly but obviously couldnt care two hoots about accomodation side of business. No reply to emailed questions prior to checking in and stay. Accidently left an item in hotel room on checkout, and both messaged and rang management and left a message trying to organise a courier to collect it, as Im 200kms away. No response to email. No response to message left with reception. Cant get a response to attempt to recover my lost item.Bathroom was incredibly tiny, and toilet was slightly awkward to use due to placement of sink, but functional. Power point placement did not allow use of my right angled power cable because of where they were placed on bedside table. Minor issues.

Room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Air conditioning was high quality and made staying during a heatwave very relaxing. All the staff were friendly and helpful with any enquiry and the room and surrounds were kept in fantastic condition. The location was great with short drives or walks to whatever you wanted.

No cutlery but my fault for not checking the description.Not sure if this is directly affiliated with the Morwell hotel but I made a booking initially at 8 which I changed to 8.30 through google. the booking was approved on google but apparently was in the system for 8. If someone had called me to confirm or inform me (as my number and email was on the confirmed google booking) then it might have saved some embarrassment.I would like to suggest that the hotel update their kitchen hours as there was no specific closing time. The actual reception for the motel room were lovely.

Spacious room!!! Good facilities and good food!

We stayed for two nights in separate rooms and the second room was not as clean as the first one.

Great location being attached to the Hotel, made it very convenient for meals, etc

Definitely the parking configuration. The parking spots outside the rooms do not line up with the rooms themselves. It’s a dogs breakfast that is as ridiculous as it is annoying. Management should really sort this out or continue receiving negative comments on an easy to fix issue!

Not much to say. I got there pretty late and left early, but it was a good stop, convenient, easy to checkin, checkout. No surprises. So I'd recommended this hotel.

The location is fairly convenient.

There was no microwave in the room. The bed and pillows were too soft.

Room was a lovely staff was very nice. It was very nice to go down and have a meal and go straight back to your room.
