Mid Valley Motel

Its a great location that we have stayed at a few times now, rooms are normally clean and well presented.

The room absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke, the curtains were full of the smell making it hard to sleep and the smoke detector had been removed. We had the window fully open and the air con on and it still smelt the next morning.

The owners where trying to improve it but should employ skilled people to do this

Very run down needs lots of TLC and improvements. I would not stay again. Having stayed at so many motels and this is probably the worst I have chosen it is what it is a very budget two star stay

It's a great location which is close to the shopping centre, patrol station, restaurant and 15 minutes to traralgon. Good facilities especially the big refrigerator, smart TV and bed are very comfortable .

well, the bed is fine and its clean.

The door lock is not safe, its not screwed well, one force push from outside it will be open, also the milk in the fridge are expired - it tastes sour, we cant even make coffee at night. And in the middle of the night there is a crazy lady knocking at the back of the window and talking shit, so creepy, I dont know if she is lost or she's drank.

The location is a light industrial area but surprisingly quiet and easy to access. The room had everything I needed for an overnight stay and the bed was very comfortable. Simple+ friendly check in.

Was asked and reminded 15 mins to get packed and check out, I think is a bit over the top; especially when it is evident that I am packing (some bags are ready to go into the car boot). It would be nicer, if they don't said "if you can packed in 15 minutes it will be good".

Set back from the street and main road so nice and quiet and no street lights shining through the windows. Water pressure was great in the shower. Has a toaster and microwave in the room..

Needed a bit of a freshen up with a paint brush and a new fly screen but the room was clean and comfortable. An iron would have been handy.

Very clean and a nice comfortable bed.We left some belongings behind and the management was very prompt in alerting us so we hadn't driven too far away.

Everything except shower was perfect and bed extremely comfortable.

Shower was terrible and would not stay again for this reason, hard to get temp right and shower itself felt like 6 needles. Usually when i stay in a motel the 2 things i do is sleep and shower and when the shower is not good its not a great start to the day.

We arrived at the room and we were having trouble with the heating. The owners went out of their way to rectify in a hurry. Thank you !!

For a budget motel for a night arrival and morning leave it was very good. The reception and housekeeping staff were wonderful. The location next door to the Gippsland Italian club made for a great dinner.

Nothing went well.

The room next to mine had locals coming and going dealing drugs. The Police did make an appearance for a domestic as well. Did not a sleep at all. Do Not recommend staying here if on business trips.

Staff were very friendly and the location was good

The room was so outdated. The beds were gross, bathroom ran out of hot water after 2 seconds which is hard when you have 4 kids to shower. There was left over rubbish in the bedside tables

The woman at reception was nice. The room and toilets were clean.

We were in room 7 and the person in room 8 putted very loud music ... I mean VERY loud until 10pm. The walls were vibing. And she was singing so loud that we could hear her almost perfectly from our room. At 11pm there were loud mechanic and car noises in the parking lot. People were speaking loudly and then... The music restarted. We couldn't sleep so we just left and slept elsewhere.It is sad, that the other customers spoil the experience, cause it could be a very comfortable stay at this motel.

The Motel was fine. It was the people in the room next to mine.After complaining to Motel management about thumping music at 10.30pm. I was awoken again by people arguing outside my front door at 2am. I,m thinking where are the owners of the property they must hear this or see it in there camera,s. It turns out young half wits next door invited local friends over all got drunk or drugged then started arguing and fighting outside my door. When your paying over $100 a night for a B grade motel you expect to get peace and quiet at 2am. I eventually had to call Police to make them leave.Next day management claims they threw them out but occupants were still there. Management apologized I said if I come back what about a large discount. No answer. I had little sleep alnight due to screaming and yelling.

Better control from management. Should have stopped when I made my first complaint at 10.30pm.Chinese people don't seem to understand what Australians expect after they have paid for a good night's rest which I didn't get.$ rules all values it seems.
