Criterion Hotel Sale

Beds are very comfortable, and I have a bad back, so that was a welcome change from most hotels. Though the room for one was small, the high ceilings make it feel bigger. Rooms are very quiet. Nice to have a good restaurant attached.

The bed was amazing and super comfy

The shower wasn't clean at all unfortunately. Pink slime and mould in places. Disappointed. The king deluxe room was also very small for the price point. Wasn't a fan of the mini fridge in the cupboard with the iron n things and the table cut in half instead of an actual side table... Also the coffee and teas could be updated to something nicer and not stake and old. It just was that great for my experience.

Room had an amazing atmosphere and a very comfy bed. Loved this place, will definitely be staying here again.

When I was cleaning up my stuff and was checking to make sure I didn't leave anything, I did notice some rubbish around that wasn't mine - i.e. a soft drink bottle under the bed, a tissue under the ottoman. Wasn't that bad tho

Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Food and drinks were fantastic and staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Anyone staying in Sale should consider this venue. Be sure to try the food. We will be back.

Location is within walking distance to town centre. Bed are comfortable with basic amenities provided. They even have paid minibar. Plenty of parking space too. Two electric vehicle charger is on site.

Only one of the ev charger is operasional. The cable of the charger is so short that I need to position my car in a way so the cable can reach the charging port. Room is on the smaller side. With the window up high.

The room was good value for money. The food was of a really great quality however I wouldn't have probably eaten there unless there was a "night" on. The night I stayed it was "steak night" and it was good quality however if it hadn't been for that the food in general seemed quite expensive. Other than that my experience there was great I was really impressed with the service the room (and the value of it) and the quality of the food. Will definitely come back

Bathroom basin a bit small, have to be careful with the spout.Glass shelf is at an awkward place and height, glass makes it hard to see it’s there

I had a very quiet and comfortable stay at The Criterian, during a lovely stopover in Sale. I loved the modern muted colours and decor of the hotel. The bed was supremely comfortable and the firm pillows were a plus.

Staff were super, super lovely! Room service an absolute game changer but that Sticky Date Pudding - it was to die for!!!!!Decor was gorgeous - loved that they incorporated the timeless features with their recent renovations to complement the age of the building!

Nothing! Couldn’t fault a thing! The bed wasn’t to my liking but hubby was super comfy!

Old style pub wirh wrap around verandah - lovely setting. Super comfortable modern rooms with ensuites. Recent refurbishment.
