Lakes Entrance Waterfront Cottages with King Beds

This is a beautiful little cottage in a great location, with the lake just metres from the back verandah. It is peaceful, with no sounds of any passing traffic. The facilities were excellent, with two recliners in the living room. The bed was comfortable. Next time we are in Lakes Entrance this is the first place we will try and book.

We cooked in the cottage, and it was a little odd that the only place to eat dinner was an island bench, But, against that, some of the table in other establishments we use are small circular tables, which have even less space.

Great location - right on the lakefront. Our hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. The unit was spotless and comfortable, with everything we needed. We would return and recommend to our friends and family.

Everything about the cottages was charming. The cottages are in an amazing location on the water. Our hosts were very welcoming - with lots of information and recommendations about the local area. Really well appointed kitchen with a full size fridge, lovely back balcony to sit and watch the sunset and very spacious rooms.

We loved the outdoor seating for bad weather, the lovely garden surrounds, views of the water, pelicans and swans. This cottage also had the most comfortable chairs we have ever found in any accommodation. In fact we pretty much liked everything. The decor was tasteful and it was spotlessly clean.

Although a minor issue, we found the lighting not good enough for reading unless sitting in the kitchen.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and the view onto the lake was uninterrupted (it was the backyard). So much bird life, beautiful.

The accommodation was exceptional - we had the loveliest cottage with beautiful plants - begonias, orchids, proteas and more surrounding us. The Lakes vista was immediately at our front verandah and the walk into town was close by, giving us every reason to step it out in search of food and drinks.

Well maintained, older style property with great views. Owners very attentive and welcoming. Very comfortable.

Great accommodation for 2 people. Lovely quiet location with plants and garden providing privacy. Comfortable king size bed and great shower with plenty of hot water. Recliner rockers in the lounge were very comfortable.

In the kitchen there was only 2 of everything - plates, bowls, cutlery etc. This meant a bit of dishwashing between meals but this is a very minor complaint

No iron and ironing board

What a beautiful cottage right on the river with the sound of the ocean in the background. The moment we drove up to the property, it was like time stopped for us. We had a long week of driving and sight seeing and were quite exhausted. We just looked out and instantly felt relaxed. Exactly what we needed

A great place for a stay in Lakes Entrance. We received a friendly welcome from Gillian. The cottage was in a very quiet location with a beautiful garden overlooking the water. Lots of care and attention was evident in the building, the furnishings and all the pot plants on the balcony.

The location right on the waters edge. Quiet end of town. Everything was spotless. Beautiful gardens. Large smart Tv in lounge, easy to connect up to our streaming services.
