    Pros +

    • location.
    • Location and staff
    • Great central location. Rooms comfortable but very dated and a bit noisy

    Cons -

    • Bugs in the room and bathroom
    • The parking — there are only four dedicated car parks for 17 rooms, and the rest of the car park is shared with the hotel/bar, so there’s basically nothing available for guests if the pub is busy. We arrived on cup eve when it was pouring rain with my three-year-old daughter, and the only available spot was at the far end of the car park (probably 100–150 metres away). I had no option but to quickly box someone in, leave our bags unattended at the base of the stairs, then move the car to the other end and walk back through the rain before hauling everything upstairs.Ran into a few other soaked guests doing the same - a few others also commented how bad the parking setup was. Shame, because the location is great, but it really needs proper guest parking and a bit of an update.
    • The pillows. They were just horrible. Other hotels I've been to have 2 pillows, One hard and one soft. Just a suggestion. The pool was a little dirty, at the bottom, water looked clean..

The Location was excellent. the place looks beautiful and peaceful. The shower and Bathrooms were excellent.

The rooms were a bit stuffy, had to leave the door open to get some fresh air. We had 2 people using CPAP machine and the outlets were unsuitable for that. We had to go and borrow extention cords to get some sleep.

Great location, walking distance to everything, meals next door were amazing and very quick, quiet location

Bed could've been a bit more comfortable but was ok to sleep in. They forgot our towels in the room. But was easy to get some delivered to the room by staff

Friendly staff, Central location, close to beach and good car park.

Reception closes at 5:00 PM. Bottle shop handles the Reception duties, I was wondering around trying to find the reception and everyone was directing me to the bottle shop, eventually i found it, and i was amazed (first thing in my life) that a lonely guy at the bottle shop performs the receptionist duties.

Excellent location across the road from the Cruises and in the middle of everything. Huge room with a queen bed and a single, and plenty of room to move around. Spotlessly clean. The office reception staff were very helpful. We arrived too early for the room and after the cruise were too late for the office...but keys are left in the bottle shop where the chap was very helpful and organised.

The only issue I had was when we went to the office as arranged, and it was unattended. We rang the bell several times but no-one appeared, so we left again.

A very solid country motel in the centre of town, attached to the major pub. Large, comfortable rooms, quiet and with easy check-in via the bottle shop. Good value.

Hotel waterfront location is excellent. We had a quiet ground floor room. Excellent restaurant is part of the complex. Coffee shop serving good breakfast was next door.

End of season so the pool needed some more TLC.

The location was perfect as ryt where the band(UNCOVERED) had a gig so not to far to walk when U have had a few too many drinks

The room(3) Floor was sticky n room was stuffy when we checked in at 3pm also 2 shelves in the fridge were cracked so could only use top shelf.

    Good location with great bistro

Not a lot of car parking right at the motel

    6AndreaPosted on: 3-27-2025

The room was adequate, not specious but not small either. Kitchenette facilities were basic and mini bar empty.BUT it was clean, staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and the position is excellent for the tourist or the worker.Pool looked very nice, albeit I had no time to try it.

    Nothing, really.

    7MikePosted on: 3-27-2025

    Clean and well located

wifi did not work. Staff advised next morning, they often have the same issue in the office. Should be advised to guests at least. Office closed at 4pm. No answer on the hotel phone number. Pretty ordinary service.

Very central the meals in the restaurant were amazing staff there were so friendly and happy.Close to shopping as well.

Just the noise and the bed was very comfortable. When we went in room there was a dirty towel hanging from previous people.
