Bairnsdale Tanjil Motor Inn

Central within the area we required

Damp smell in the room on entering, and had to leave door open for some time

The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable.

On a 40degree day and hot night the air conditioner was turned off at 10pm.The unit was old with broken shelf in the bathroom and cracked tiles.

Room clean and bed very comfortable

TV remote did not work well

Walking distance to the town centre. It was comfortable.

Needs a big upgrade. A little run down. Our shower leaked. Notified the manager when checked out. Weren't too concerned. Hopefully it gets resolved. Pool area also needs a face lift. A little run down.

The accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable. A perfect place to sleep while we were in the Bairnsdale area.

The only source of water was from the bathroom basin and the tap wasn't high enough to fill a water bottle.

Great central location, close to shopping and restaurants;

On a five day stay the room wasn't serviced apart from giving us clean towels after requesting them.

Comfy, clean and walking distance to city shops

It's a good value for money stay for those staying on business or just passing through. The facilities are good, with Foxtel on the TV. Very clean and great service from the staff.

Not the most comfortable beds, but most hotels aren't

Only stayed the one night while down here for an event, but the place was clean and comfortable

Late check in was easy to organise. The room was clean and tidy with the heater already running when I arrived, which was great on a cold evening. The TV system ran through foxtel but clear simple to follow instructions were provided making it easy to use and navigate. The bed was super comfortable (firm) and the ensuite shower pressure good.

Car park was angle parking in front of the room and a little tight for my vehicle.

Clean, cosy, comfortable room with everything we needed. Owners friendly & helpful. Would stay there again.

No breakfast option.

Clean. Good amenities.

Bed pretty saggy.Smell of cleaning liquids very strong.

Everything we needed for an overnight stay and good location. Lots of room for luggage.

No kitchen sink. Had to wash dishes in bathroom basin. Would be good to have a table and chairs but the bench/desk did suffice for dinner.

Very clean, basic but well equipped, quiet and central. Very friendly staff. Quite spacious with plenty of room for luggage. Definitely recommended.Great for a short stay, though probably not for a romantic weekend.

Some furniture a little tired and worn. Doesn’t fit with the overall cleanliness of the room and bathroom.

Standard motel. Helpful staff. A couple of minor issues were attended to promptly. Nice location about 1 km out of town, so quiet.

The room was dated but functional and clean

It could do with a freshen up

Room was clean for an older property and maintained, great value, facilities were good and close to everything

Bed was ok but could do with an update

Rooms were clean and decent size. All usual facilities were provided. We decided to extend our stay by 1 more day. The staff was very accommodating of the fact and made the changing of room hassle free. Would definitely recommend staying here. We will definitely come back to this place if we visit this town again.

Unit away from main road

Car parking lanes were away from door so that when others arrived it was noisy. Walls quite thin could hear neighbour’s tv late at night so couldn’t get to sleep.

Friendly staff. Comfortable and great price.
