Castle Motel Bairnsdale

The smell of the room with the air freshener was over powering I had to leave the door open for servals hours to make it bearable. Also the fridge was not working correctly so had the throw the food I brought. Would never stay the again I will sleep in

Location: central and close to everything.Facilities: clean, modern, excellent bed, excellent shower.Management: very pleasant and helpful.

I would have enjoyed having a DVD player.

Newly renovated motel which is walking distance to town. Handy to the bike trails as we were riding e bikes. Has everything you need for a short stay.

There was a fair bit of noise from the street (this would not be so bad in rooms that are further from reception)

The room was dirty, old and light above the main area didn’t work. Very bad Wifi, didn’t work most of the time

On the main road so get a little noisy in the morning.

Some of the cutlery was missing. Nothing to wipe up spills or wash dishes with. No instructions for TV

Very close to all the shops. An easy walk to Woolies etc. Exceptionally clean, freshly painted and for an older building the bathroom was very good with a lovely new basin. The carpet looked new as well. The room was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. Great value for the price. I’d book there again if coming to the area.

The red coverlet on the bed was the only thing that made the room appear dated. A white sheet as a cover looks much smarter, as is the trend nowadays.

Arrived early. My room was ready that I could leave my things there. Always feel very welcoming. They go out of their way. Nothing is a problem. Room impeccably clean. Everything I needed and more. Thank you

A little dated but super clean and comfy

Lipstick stain on a mug, but easy washed. Some traffic noise, but hard to avoid on a main highway.

The location was excellent! A short walk from the station. And conveniently located by grocery stores and restaurants!

The room smelt like an ashtray and the bathroom floor felt slimy. The coffee cups were dirty

A very pleasant surprise on arrival seeing that the room we had booked had a renovation. Great communication with the owner who made himself available when we arrived at 8pm. Room was fresh, clean and given a well needed update, was CERTAINLY value for money.

Nothing that we didn't like, have stayed at this accommodation many times before and is always a great price in a great location.

Looks like it was furnished by an op shop very shabby no hair-dryer gone down hill since last stayed there
