Bairnsdale Main Motel

Cheap and high standards of accomodation. ie. clean, fresh, air con, tv, tea & coffee, bathroom towels etc. Everything I could reasonable expect in a motel.

Bed is a little hard for me, but I am an old person. it was a perfectly good bed for the average person.

Good value motel on our trip heading to NSW. Would stay here again. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Our Economy Double room was small but adequate for a short stay. It was clean and moderately well equipped, but lacked a microwave oven and bowls for cereal. There was traffic noise from the nearby highway from about 6am onwards, but very little noise at night. Overall, very good value for money. Highly recommended for a short stay for budget travellers.

There was no-one to greet us, despite the reception hours being posted. It should have been open.

An ideal motel. Simple, but every element was faultless. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, the air conditioner was modern, quiet and efficient. Parking right outside the room, which was convenient.

Being on the main road, there is a little bit of road noise at night.Could have done with power points at the beside tables for more convenient phone charging.

It was a last minute trip to explore Mitchell River & we came across this gem of a place which really suited our needs. Very clean, tidy & most of all great value for money. Ray was fantastc & went out of his way to find out places for us to visit during our short stay.

Very hard double bed, fairly old linen. Didn’t meet any staff member, just a list of names on the door and open doors to your room.

I’d love a microwave but it’s not necessary. Anyone who books this knows it’s on the main road so close your windows at night. Good air con.

Close to Bairnsdale Hospital. Friendly, helpful staff! Excellent value for money.
