Snowy River Lodge Motel

Well stocked pantry with cookies, hot choc mix, even a chai latte mix! Lovely location on a large property, lots of greenery, bird life and roses in bloom. Wifi works well.

Quite an old property, with a bathroom flush washer in need of repair.

The Hosts were pleasant and helpful.Room was clean and comfortable with enough room for the 4 of us to not be in each others space.With a microwave, kettle and toaster and basic cutlery, there was everything you needed.The grounds were also nice and well kept.

I am very happy with stay. I really appreciate gesture of host as i reached late unaware everything will be closed. So, they provided milk for my child. It made my stay smooth. Room had all facilities like heating,Tv,microwave,cutlery, fridge,toaster and kettle.

This motel exceeded our expectations. When we arrived in the rain, it looked a bit underwhelming however it was actually really great. The staff were helpful, the room had everything we needed, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, utensils, washing up liquid and sponge, tea towel etc. hot water!! Yay! Heating, WiFi, fresh smelling sheets.Being on a road trip, this little motel was perfect for our one night stop. Not walking distance to Orbost but only a short drive. Was a really great place to stay.

The huge moths outside the door ?

The Snowy River lodge ticked a box for somewhere for us to sleep. The mattress could be updated as they are old and firm. The place is dated but comfortable

Just a clean roadside motel. No frills. Easy and friendly staff.

The garden setting is attractive including a nice little BBQ shelter that we did not use. Bed was good.

The buildings are old and look drab. A fresh coat of paint would brighten the appearance. Insect screens missing. General appearance around buildings and entrance looked a bit untidy.

Far from Orbost & sign missed. Should be more radiant!Be good for breakfast offer.Driveway & drive passages quite rough, rocky & uneven!

Every thing was just perfect.

Even though it was on a main road it was set back off the road and was very quiet. The bush land behind our room was a nice aspect through the windows.

Not too far from Orbost but you couldn’t walk there.

Bbq was available but no gas in bottle.No soap holder in shower and window sill was all slimy from people sitting soap there.Sunk into a hole once in bed

Excellent service from the knowledgable and very friendly manager, a great guy who has had a lot of industry experience. Early check in was appreciated. This all created a great first impression. The motel room is spacious and well equipped. Excellent spacious bathroom with very good hot water service in the shower. The room has a pleasing traditional Australian decor and good soundproofing. Fresh 40 inch TCL TV works well. Biggest surprise is the Starlink (yes, Elon Musk's company) internet which is super fast and works well, much better than NBN. A short drive into Orbost...Overall, a well run motel.

The double bed mattress was very firm and you could feel the springs, tolerable for one night but probably not for longer stays...

It was larger than I expected, and the kitchenette facilities were useful! It was also available at short notice luckily!

Spacious, super clean, smart tv, good internet, easy check in, whilst dated it’s been semi updated and is immaculately kept. Will happily stay here again.

Beautiful surroundings, plenty of sunlight inside the room with trees I. The backyard.
