- Bar on the first floor playing musing until 1am with the entire room just vibrating (a mirror fell from the wall due to the vibrations during the night).
- Management might want to adress kidd running feral through the guest accomodation toilet & shower areas when their parents at at birthday parties on the 1st floor balcony & not bothering to suoervise aforementioned offspring. They managed to shred a roll or 2 of TP & spread it through the stairwells. Might save a bit of cleaning up later
- The very, very, very small rooms.4 emails and 2 phone calls looking for a refund and nothing....

Too expensive stinky rooms
Good location.
The hotel only had shared toilets and showers, and as the toilets were completely overflowing they stunk up the ENTIRE floor. We requested a check-in at 2 pm which was approved, we won’t not let into our room until after 3:30pm. We were told there was live music that finish at 11pm, there was no live music but there was blaring music from downstairs that did not stop until far after this time. We paid extra for a king room, but it was just two single beds squished together. The television in the room didn’t work. The hot water didn’t work. There were no glasses or fridge in our room. We were instructed to check out an hour before we were told we would need to.This should be classified as poor backpackers accommodation only, not a hotel. I expect a full refund.
Lovely staff, nice clean room with comfy beds. For an old hotel I couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay. Shared bathrooms were clean and easily accessible.
Clean sheets
No WiFi, no heat in the bedrooms, the bathroom was shared by everyone on the floor, dirty bathrooms.
No air con , very...
The price for the rooms was outrageous considering we had to be evacuated from our home due to bushfire
The property was clean and very central and quiet when we visited
Probably the only downside was the bathroom on the first floor and no lift access as I was travelling with my grand children I had to leave the room for the bathroom through the night and our room was on the second floor.
Good beds, clean and great location
Squeaky floors
Extremely disappointed
Room was the size of a shoebox. No wardrobe, Aircon. TV reception was woeful. Maintenance of building very poor. Will never book this hotel again.
Location was good, bed confortable
The no ensuite in the rooms and at the end of the hall
Room for a single bloke was adequate and bed comfortable. Location of hotel is great
For an old hotel no complaints.
Good location
Needed more amenitiesAlso fire alarm went off and noone to help us about meeting point. Thank God no fire!! Great concern if there was a real one
WE did not stay as the room did not have its own bathroom. I now see from the main listing that it does have shared bathrooms that were not very clean. But in the room description, it does not state a shared bathroom :0( so not very happy, and we did not stay.
NO private bathrooms
A very old place with...
No water in room. Fire alarm went off at 8am. No indication of assembly place in room or anywhere else. Some people went outside while others waiting at their bedroom door. I am happy that it was a false alarm because people were waiting on the only middle stairway. No exit choice
Very comfortable beds. Great location. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
I was happy with the room. The bed was very comfortable.
It was annoying that the smoke alarm went off around 8am.
It’s a nice old building
No where does it state the bathroom is shared! We booked a family room for a family of 5 including a toddler that is toilet training. I have never in my life booked a hotel that had shared bathrooms. Now when we first went into said bathroom there was a very large puddle of urine on the floor, so I picked up a towel to throw it over it and that towel also was stained with urine. Absolutely disgusting.
bed was very comfy - room was clean perfect for our night stay in healesville to attend a concert
