Tuileries at De Bortoli Rutherglen

Tuileries was a delightful place to stay. The location was perfect and super close to Rutherglen shops, staff were excellent, we went to lots of wineries but De Bortolli’s was my favourite cellar (the way they organised tasting, the wine and staff). Highly recommend and very grateful. Recommend booking breakfast with the stay.

The outlook of our room onto the vineyards was fabulous. The spaciousness of the room, especially the bathroom. It was quiet and peaceful.

Parking.. there was one guest who parked so selfishly that no one could park next to her. But really there was nothing no to like.

Location is excellent and the size of the rooms was exceptional. Restaurant and bar facilities are a high class.

Beautiful, quiet and clean room overlooking the vineyards.

We were hoping for a cooked buffet breakfast. We thought the breakfast food was fairly basic apart from the smoked salmon.

We really liked to setting and the restaurant as the food and service was excellent. The room was nice and had a large bathroom and the view overlooking the small vineyard was very relaxing.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this wonderful property. From the room to the wine tasting to pool to the amazing a dinner … should have stayed longer

Loved the position of our room facing the vineyard. Breakfast was buffet style and we ate in the courtyard each day. Our celebration lunch was memorable - great atmosphere, super friendly staff, delicious food, beautifully presented.

Well set up rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast.

Because I am unable to tolerate fat/oils/cream etc it does limit my diet when I eat out. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the food that we had. We had breakfast in the breakfast room and were very happy with the array of food that was provided. A sugesstion might be having a fresh fruit tray as I know that many people do enjoy that.

Everything was excellent. Because it is Christmas would have like to see the restaurant with more decorations with carols softly played. In Europe restaurants have decorations everywhere and provides a beautiful amvience for the festive season. A beautiful lighted christmas with lovely decorations. The roses I would like to see in full bloom for the festive season. A gardener will know when to prune for christmas showing. Usually 4-6 weeks after first flush in october. Feed with fish emulient and cow manure is what I do. Another comment plants need to beheaded as look a tad untidy. Over all we had a magic stay and these comments are made in good faith.

Pillows were too thin. Bathroom windows too bright.

Our 3 night stay exceeded our expectations. Dinner at the restaurant was 5 star and staff especially Beth couldn’t do enough for us.
