Pros +
- The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fresh, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. We'd happily stay with them again if such a need arose in the future and would be happy to recommend this property to friends.
- It is a motel not a hotel. I had to go to a cafe they recommended.
- Excellent location. Well looked after by Kerrie. Rooms well appointed.
Cons -
- The fact that every eatery in Rutherglen shuts before 8pm on a Sunday!!!
- Parking would have been difficult with a big car, but there was ample street parking if needed. Only basic in room hot drink facilities. No cold water in fridge.
- Bathroom was not as clean as last time we stayed

Excellent location. Well looked after by Kerrie. Rooms well appointed.
The rooms were large, very well equipped and the toiletries very good. The adjoining hotel was pleasant and the food excellent.
Friendly staff. Great position - on the main road but units at the back and back access so very quiet.

Great location, clean and comfortable
Friendly helpful and responsive management. Rooms set up with everything you could need, and kept immaculately clean. A pleasure to stay.
Very clean, quiet and comfortable. A great location also, being close to the pub bistro and cafes.
Nothing to dislike.
Warm welcome; very clean and quiet. Nice gardens and good wifi. Very close to the main street.
All was good, except the soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower spayed out horizontally.
For its age poachers exceeded my expectations. It was very clean & comfortable & the location suited us perfectly for an event at James & co wine bar
I didn’t dislike anything
Location was perfect for what we needed. Room was clean and tidy and bed comfy. Shower pressure was outstanding.
Loved the size of the room. Very spacious. Great location, walked to restaurants.
Not a fan of strong fragrance so had to put the reed diffusers in the bathroom cabinet.
Great location in town, walking distance to cafes, restaurants etc. Our friends were staying at the caravan park just across the road which was very convenient. We liked the table and chairs in the room and outside. Fridge and cutlery and crockery were appreciated. Good sized ensuite, shower with good hot water and pressure.
There was no room service during the 5 night stay, although towels were changed twice. Not a major concern as we understand it keeps costs down.
Clean, comfortable room close to centre of Rutherglen.
Very clean and comfy, allowed to check in an hour early so we had time to get ready for the wedding we were attending. Also close to the venue for the wedding.
The motel is in a great location in Rutherglen. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. We have stayed before and will visit again.
