Sunrise Motel

Steve was very friendly & greeted us as we were barely out of the car. The undercover area was fantastic with BBQ, lots of seating, darts, billiards, tv & many board games. There was also a basketball hoo & cricket equipment. It was better than being at a caravan park. The pool was also great with towels & pool equipment provided. Our room was more than big enough for 2 adults & 2 kids but the biggest surprise was the beds. Most places we have stayed at the beds have ruined our experience but the beds here were very comfortable.

Great friendly staff. Good location to the town. Swimming pool was clean. It’s a bit old in style but very clean.

Hotel is a little outdated but still great

Loved the location, we had a wonderful stay. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. The room is a little dated. The owner very friendly. The room rate very affordable.

Nice place to stay

Air con seemed a little underpowered or just in a bad location.Not quite as clean as could have been (golf ball under the bed and food/rubbish down sides of couch)

Best was the attention to detail - room and facilities were clean, well unkept, and comfortable.Kitchenette was well stocked with utensils.

There were 4 of us that booked two rooms with Sunrise, location was easy to get to and from. Rooms we were in were very spacious and clean. The fully equipped kitchen was so convenient as we stayed there a week so we could cook our own meals if we chose too. Steve and Alecks are a lovely young couple who will go out of their way to help. I would recommend this motel for sure.

Huge room good facilities clean and great location

We liked everything during our stay. Steve was a very pleasant easy going young man who offered us all great service during the 3 days. I hope, if this is his new business venture, that is all goes well in the future.

Our accommodation had everything we wanted. Space, very clean, a comfortable bed and a strong, hot shower. It was quiet and walking distance to the hotel for dinner. It was on point and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Excellent BBQ facilities, clean spacious gas BBQ & cabana for eating, was a tad tricky to engage the gas but staff/owner/Manager was exceptionally helpful. Water pressure in shower was strong and hot! Some minor fluctuations in temperature but well within tolerance with no excessive heat or cold shocks often experienced when others use the water. Spacious parking spots in front of rooms. Very good WiFi, foxtel, even a dual DVD/Video Tape player.Rooms all were spacious (we knew 3 other couples who stayed there)Rooms had plenty of cutlery, plates cups and cookware. Though no stove a portable electric cooker with 2 elements was provided.Cleaning dishwasher detergent provided. The bathroom/Shower was clean and spacious with plenty of ventilation including an egress fan. A room deodorant was also provided for those special moments.Included also were towels etc and a hair-dryer Ironing board iron and clothes storage also provided.

The motel was very well priced, room was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, etc, beds were comfortable. Yards were well maintained, parking in front of room, short drive to services club for dinner, excellent service, plenty on the menu to chose from

Smokey air from chimney exacerbated asthma, beds a bit soft, yet quiet and comfortable otherwise.

Talk about appearances being deceptive. The sign out front was a little worn but the minute you walk through the door it was very comfortable and spacious. Lovely set up, spotlessly clean. Working internet, working TV, comfortable couch and bedding and a hot shower. I liked the eco-friendly rubbish collection. I really liked the place and after a long drive it was the perfect place to rest. I also liked the confirmation communication provided by the staff.
